Likes

I liked that faculties there were very educated and qualified. The infrastructure is beautiful.
I liked that there was one room one occupancy room at hostel.

Dislikes

You have to do a lot of walking and by lot I mean a lot. In the sun, you have to do a lot of walking. No rickshaws or cycle available.
Mess food was worst at some days and some days it is nice according to the tender.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was great and according to DBT for biotech course. MBA course was also nice but the main problem is that you have to do everything by your own. No one will help you. Exam pattern is easy.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My semester wise fees was Rs.52000 along with Rs.42000 hostel and mess fees which was compulsory to take at that time. Scholarship was available for the students of Uttar Pradesh and not any other student. As the topper I got the scholarship of Rs. 10000 twice from the college.

Campus Life

Cmous life was good if you can walk. But there were no social events. Annual fest is the right of every college student, but after 2019 no college fest was held in the college. Hostel organizes DJ nights but that is not exciting at all.

Admission

I chose this college because I had to do Btech in Biotechnology. I applied in DU and also got selected but they were not offering technical course. That's why I opted for that. My college is poor in terms of placement. If you are just emjoying and wanna enjoy and your placement is sorted then please take admission here. Thers is only one person in Placement cell which is disastorous.

The faculty members were qualified but the transfer of knowledge was very poor. You have to do self- study and then you can excel in your career. Exams were to be held per semester: Mid sems: 25 End sems: 60 Internals: 15

College life and it's reality

Placement Experience:

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

Placement ls are pretty decent as per the recession but still not that impressive i will say 50% students are getting placed till now but i can say the placement are still not normal so at this time we can hope for the best

There are many placements opportunities provided by the campus. Many companies like samsung, google visit the campus but only take the top candidates. Highest package offered last year was around 33 LPA and average package is around 7-8 LPA. Almost everyone gets placement after the course so thats a good thing.

Campus placement is offered in college but not all students get on campus placement only some students get and others have to search for off campus placement you have to be in top 10 in your branch to get a on campus placement as the competition is very high

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semster Students are eligible to sit in the Campus placements. Students are eligible only if they have 8CGPA in every year. In past there were many companies like Amazon , adobe , Mahindra and many more , Highest on campus placement was of 56Lac/year , Average placement : around 5lac/year. Around 20% students are really placed in this college. My personal opinion is to get a job from either outside or oncampus placement and save for my Masters to do it from abroad.

Sweet and Salty Journey of GCET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Preferred this course because I saw a great scope in this. Artificial Intelligence is our future so it is having great scope for the future. Faculty: Student Ratio is Good means the no. of Teachers is enough for every course. They all are having good qualifications and are very helpful. The term exams were quite easy and you will not find any difficulty in passing.

Work hard and achieve your goals

Here I am taking about for MSc biotechnology entrance exam the eligibility for exam is bsc and many entrance exams like gat b , IIT jam , cuet pg is there exam fee is normal max. 1500 . Offcourse reservation benefits is there I think this is not good.I only want is that plzz remove this reservation benefits and treat everyone equally. I applied for courses related to mathematics in DU, and for biotechnology at BHU and GBU. I chose GBU because it provides hostel and mess at an affordable rate on top of that, it's a state government university.
