Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is not updated and does not make you industry ready as there is a significant gap between the job roles offered outside compare to what we study. Some trending courses are introduced but there is absence of teachers who have experience and knowledge in that certain indstry.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements form 7th semester. L&T,HLS ,various CS core companies , sales and marketing companies visit here. Highest-13-15lpa Avg-6lpa Placement percentage - 50-60% Many students plans to do Higher Studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
College Tution fees for branches except IT & EE - 56400 per year.(including Hostel) for EE and IT- 70800 per year.(including Hostel) additional cost includes mess- 16000 per semester. Scholorship are provided for UP home state students however is elegible for the same.(Approx 60K)for gen and obc.
Campus Life
Annual fests include freshers, forums of branches,club events and sports event. Library has Adequate books available. Sports like football, cricket ,volleyball, basketball, TT ,chess, Badminton is present and is very active and competitive. Clubs and councils like Cultural,Fine Arts and Hobies ,Literary, Sports, Drone learners, mercenary motorsports, Innovation and Incubation Cell is present.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels have acces to 24x7 WIFI facility. Mess food quality is below average. Menu has variety but are not well cooked. Hostel are very cheap and affordable only 9640rs per year. Others may find for Pg and rooms nearby areas.
Admission
Admissions are based on the basis of Jee Mains and the admissions are done by UPTU(aktu) own website. You can get CS & it Branches if you haven't made it to nit's cutoff rank for cs and it range 55K-85K. It is the 2nd best government college in Aktu in UP.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 60. Most of the faculty are not at all supportive you to do all things by yourselves would'nt depend on them. You can solve your doubts after classes. Exams are done every semesters, can pass just by studying before the exams.
Night Life
Gym is present but not functional, library is present. Girls and 1st year boys have timings of 7pm and 9pm respectively. Rest have no time restrictions. Central Canteen and two other canteens in college campus iare present.
