Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering is oldest branch here and had its separate building. The curriculum helps us to become a good engineer in our field The classes should be improved where seniors had there classes There are 2 CT helps per semester and one end semester exam The difficulty level is medium and mostly previous year question are asked.
Placement Experience
Campus placement are good You become eligible for it since 6 semester Companies visited are TCS,L&T,WIPRO,HLS ASIA and many more Highest package is 17 Lpa and average is around 6 lpa. Nearly seventy percent batch get placed After getting degree you can opt for higher education and also go for place job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees is 71400 including hostel fees this is for all categories and branches except EE and IT For which fees is 89000 Up scholarship provides fee return of around 57000 for general and OBC for SC/ST full fees are returned that is 71400
Campus Life
There are many FEST organised regularly Like INNOVANZA in April Abhinandan in October Utsav in February There are many books present in the library and whole is very good and so many jounals are also present there but most of them are old There are many subcoucils like Cultural, Sports to participate Kriti Design, Seekspace club is the various organisations working They provide a good source for start up
Hostel Facilities
Hostel charges are 36000 per year including mess. Mess food is satisfactory Internet facility is provided but speed is not much good There is Rented room nearby to live in called kocha barwa and it is affordable
Admission
Our college is ranked among 2 in Uttar Pradesh. I applied for IET Lucknow but I could not get it it had better location than jhansi so I choose it but my rank was not enough good to make it there. Admission process is that you have to give JEE MAINS and have to maintain the minimum percentile to get admission via UPTU counselling. Cut offs are different for different categories
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:60 The best faculties are Dr Vimal kumar Dr Ajay Survanshi Dr Tarun Sootia They all are very well studied and good professor with vast knowledge in their respective field .there are professor like Praveen kumar Srivastava which are very good.
Night Life
Gym facilities is not present, library timings are 10 am to 8pm For 1 year timings closing timings are 7 pm for both boys and girls but no such limitation is there after 1 year. Famous hangout places are central canteen inside And outside jhansi fort,Orcha fort
