There is a competition held every year between the hostels which is super fun, super competitive, and just amazing.
Yes yes our university provides amouyof scholarship in every students.
Teachers are very interactive, they appreciate the students, they are very supportive, helpful. their teaching methods is good, they solve any query or doubts of students personally. experience teachers are here

Dislikes

Faculty are well versed and qualified but do lack industrial exposition.
No financial assistant and no internship certificate given by institute.
The exposure to the corporate world or jobs is very low.

Swimming pool facility is provided to anyone who wants to learn swimming
Health centre benefits and free medical check ups whoever has a their passbook
And huge library and cyber library facilities

Dislikes

Time management is very poor, many events clash
Distance and location of the departments
Poor considerations to student's mental health

Placement Experience:

I don't know about campus placements but no student is sitting idle since there are other prospects as well in which a student can pursue their work. Research and other government exams. Also it seems 100% placement is provided some students settle for lesser packages depending upon their merit credibility and needs.

College life of BHU

Likes

I like our mostly the facilities ranging from swimming library NCC mountain expedition the availability of opportunities is no less
The regular seminars conducted opens your perspective
Good alumni base and business opportunities in Varanasi

Dislikes

Safety for girls as it's not a very good place at night
The problem of water clocking in the city during monsoon
The lose administration which delays or many times postphones a lot of things including exams and sometimes even marks evaluation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical aspect of the courses provided good learning the curriculum does provide for the real world opportunities but its mostly the connections and the contacts we make in the organisations and school which Blue Star performance I suggest the curriculum should be more on practical side with other than there is no major problem only practicality Exam season is twice a year

BHU: An exceptional universe(ity)

Likes

The campus of BHU is just amazing & its green natural habitat is too good.
The free medical facilities to students of BHU.
The Central Library, Asia's biggest library.

Dislikes

Teacher's here don't take classes regularly.
Infrastructure is too old & it needs to renovate with time.
All students here can't get hostel because of too much numbers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The social science course is very knowledgeful & it attracted me because it develops our overall concept of everything. This curriculum teach us about real-world applications especially my hons. subject Sociology & degree from BHU are very good for future aspects. The areas for improvement is that classes can run regularly. Frequency of exams is it happens twice in a year. The difficulty level is moderate.

Beauty of VASANTA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (BHU)

The campus is very beautiful , it surrounded by the bank's of ganga river,the view is insane,rhe in comparison to other affiliated college of BHU,VCW has largest campus
Professors here are very friendly, they coperate with u in every field and the lectures are interactive tooo
Vcw has enriched library with beautiful ambiance of library to sit in and study,the college canteen is also very good

Dislikes

One the main things of discomfort,is the location of college in which it is situated,as it in the outskirts of Varanasi
And one can feel difficulties in finding public transport
And if u opt for hostel,the fees of hostel is very much that 1 lakh for a academic year

first of all I like im this college is to communicate with other guys .in this college I got a huge chance of attending so many cultural activities and program which gives me a different feelings which I get in this college and it is also a dream un
here lab experiment and equipments are too good which provides us a pratical meaning of our studies in a great manner I didn't experience this type of laboratory experiment in previous colleges .and over colleges have great achievement in reasearchs.
and one of the most popular library sayaji rao gaykawad library is also in bhu which provides a great educational studies materials in every fields either in research or philosophy or anything .and a cyber library of capacity of 400 in this area of c

Dislikes

syllabus curriculum is too old it should be updated with new era of world
and in the library seats are so less as compared to number of students so Students have to face many problems
also.all teachers are excellent in this university but some teachers behaviour is so rude behaviour to students they can not behave properly

I am pursuing the Ba (hons) Ancient Indian history culture and archaeology. The curriculum of the this course contains the historical aspects of ancient indian history. In first and second semester we had studied about the political history of India from the 600 BCE to the arrival of Delhi Sultanate era in 12th Century. The third semester consist of religious beliefs and study of Vedic and puranci religions as well as Buddhists and jain culture.

Experience of BHU by a student

Likes

Environment is too good, I found every where trees and one park is also here
Class are always clean and everywhere drinkable wate, and in each department water cooler is there
There is two library one is cyber, there you can get computer for studying no extra charges and other is central Library where sufficient books are available

Dislikes

All professors are not good they are just coming for formality and not teaching well
Not have much hostel facility, less than 50% students getting hostel

I like the maths so too study the higher level mathematics i choose this course Not that much good but yes this make me learn nad apply in real world Yes in physics practical there is irrelevant practicals that is no meaning and we are just doing , so there need to be replace with new one Frequency and time of exam is good there is no need to change
