What Students Say

Likes

The faculty was outstanding and professors were very learned.
The library was outstanding and student-friendly.
The campus was huge with lush green trees.

Dislikes

The rooms needed maintenance and painting was required inside the classroom.
The mandatory attendance rule was strict with no relaxation even on reasonable grounds.
The sports facility was good in the campus but the faculty itself does not have much sports facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is really up to the mark and latest Acts were there in the syllabus for a holistic preparation and knowledge dissemination of the students. The difficulty level of the semester papers was different for different papers and overall the difficulty was medium.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 5500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for LL.M. program was Rs. 5500/- per year and around 11,000 for the two years. However, some admissions were also made on paid seat basis whose fee structure was higher than the other students. It was Rs. 30,000 per year and this 60,000 for the two years.

Campus Life

The infrastructure was average but the lush green forests covering the campus is a great sight to witness and experience. The Janmashtami and Holi celebrations are very popular inside the campus. The books and journals are readily available inside the faculty library and also the central library is fully air-conditioned.

Admission

Although I got admission in NLUs, BBAU and BHU, but I decided to get enrolled in BHU because of several reasons as follows: 1) The BHU tag is something that would add value to my profession profile. 2) The learned faculty members are of exceptional quality. 3) The fees of BHU is comparatively lesser than the other universities. 4) The city of Varanasi has improved as compared to previous years making it a great choice to live here.

Faculty

The faculty members were really learned and sophisticated. They seemed eager to impart whatever knowledge they have with the students. The exam structure followed by the faculty was 70+30 marks scheme out of which 70 marks was for semester examination and 30 marks was for internal exam and presentation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course which I have opted is LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law. With this LLM, the chances of placement is high in corporate law firms and also helps in the practising In field of LAW . The exam pattern is simple and is not very tough but yet challenging preparing you to note minute details in every thing being taught. The moot court facility is also very good with Honourable judges of court coming to guide the students once every six months .

MUIT- why its the best

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have completed my graduation from law field I decided to opt masters in same. I selected criminal specialisation because this university is providing all the subjects and topics in my course which I personally wanted to learn. The curriculum teaches us about the accurate reasons behind the crime rates and also provided their solutions which are really helpful. They also have an additional subject which is compulsory for all related to yoga but I personally feel that yoga must be a practical lesson and not just theoretical and that's the only sphere where I think university has to improve it and start practical classes for yoga too. We have our sessional exams which are of 30 marks after 2 months of our semester started and end term exams at the end of our semester

Placement Experience:

There are very few placement opportunity for the students of llm. In most cases student become eligible for camous placements in 2nd year of llm . And average package offered here is 1500000 rs. 20-30 % getting placements. Most of the students go to judicial services. And i have also planned to go to judicial services after getting the degree.

GALGOTIAS BEST FACULTY AND PLACEMENT

Placement Experience:

The students start getting place from their final semester and this year the higher package was offered by smith and co. of around 25 lakhs and the average package range around 15 lakhs which is pretty good. The placement percentage was around 92.

An overview of Banaras Hindu University

Banaras Hindu University has some problems like slow paper work, old building in some parts and things taking time to get fixed but still there something special about it. The campuses big and peaceful and you meet student from all over India which makes the experience interesting .Even though the system isn't perfect like a BHU teachers you a lot not just from book but from people and moments. There are fests,group studies, late night chai and walk under the tree that you will remember for long time. I just applied for BHU and not any other colleges because of BHU legacy and good name.
