Course Curriculum Overview
As I have completed my graduation from law field I decided to opt masters in same. I selected criminal specialisation because this university is providing all the subjects and topics in my course which I personally wanted to learn. The curriculum teaches us about the accurate reasons behind the crime rates and also provided their solutions which are really helpful. They also have an additional subject which is compulsory for all related to yoga but I personally feel that yoga must be a practical lesson and not just theoretical and that's the only sphere where I think university has to improve it and start practical classes for yoga too. We have our sessional exams which are of 30 marks after 2 months of our semester started and end term exams at the end of our semester
Fees and Financial Aid
Glad to share about MUIT(Maharishi University of Information and Technology),Noida. I have completed my Masters of Law from this university. They have both 1year as well as 2 year course with lots of specialisations. I opted for 1year with criminal law as my specialisation. The fees for this course is 80K in which 4K is the examination charges and the remaining is the tuition fees. They give you scholarships and fee relaxation even for your previous graduation scores as I have also get relaxation of 10% on my total fees. Campus of university is really safe and the faculty is friendly too. This university provides you with number of facilities and seminars, webinars and many more activities.
Campus Life
They have organised a fest in which a singer was there but this was organised in there Lucknow campus. They had also planned a resort trip for students with lots of activities. The library sections are totally different for every stream and specialisations. They have all books and journals with latest amendments and reforms. Not only teacher but students too have to go for biometric attendance to get accurate timings of students arrival in university and class. They have Wi-Fi so that students can do their research work and other academic works hassle free. They have arranged various seminars, webinars and moot court activities which is actually great to be attended and to participate for a law student. Other that this they have various sports and a huge play area separately for different sports.
Admission
I had communicated to various other universities like Amity, Jagannath University but I opted MUIT because it has the specialisation which I wanted to study and learn and I also got great reviews about this university from my seniors who are with me in my graduation and had completed there masters from MUIT. This university is also very affordable in terms of fee structure and the admission process is very simple as you just need to fill a form and submit your documents and you are done with your admission. You need at least 55% in your graduation to apply for masters and you can also go for clat-pg exam to get your admission but it isn't necessary to clear or appear for clat-pg you can get admission without it as well.
Faculty
There is a good faculty n student ratio. From my personal point of view I genuinely appreciate Vikas sir as he was my mentor too for dissertation and he was really supportive and helpful. Not only Vikas sir every faculty member is supportive and friendly. As my course is of one year in duration I had 2 sessionals in each semester and 2 semester exams at end of each semesters. The exams are not that difficult is the questions are totally from our subjects which we have studied during our classes and totally relevant from our course curriculum
