Ques. What is the difference between DM Medical Gastroenterology and MCh Surgical Gastroenterology at SRIHER?
Ans. DM Medical Gastroenterology is a 3-year super-specialty degree for MD/MS (General Medicine or related) graduates, focusing on non-surgical management of GI disorders, endoscopy, hepatology, and IBD. MCh Surgical Gastroenterology is for MS (General Surgery) graduates and focuses on surgical interventions for GI conditions. Both are offered at SRIHER with 3 and 2 seats respectively.

Ans. SRIHER has 3 sanctioned seats for DM Medical Gastroenterology for the academic year 2026-27. All seats are filled through MCC Super Speciality Counselling based on NEET-SS scores.
Ques. What is the total fee for DM Gastroenterology at SRIHER, and is there any stipend?
