SRIHER Chennai Begins Admission 2026; Apply Now!

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai, has announced that admissions are now open for the academic year 2026.

The university has begun applications for all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs except for MBA and PhD courses.

Students from across India can now apply through the official admission website at admissions.sriramachandra.edu.in.

Applicants need to pay a non-refundable application fee while submitting their online forms. For most UG and PG programs, the application fee is around Rs. 1,000.

SRIHER is a well-known Deemed University that offers a wide range of programs in health sciences, allied health, and life sciences. SRIHER offers several Undergraduate (UG) programs, such as MBBS, BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), B.Sc. Nursing, BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy), BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy), etc.

The Postgraduate (PG) programs include MD and MS in Clinical and Non-Clinical specializations, M.Sc. Nursing, M.Pharm, MPT (Master of Physiotherapy), MOT (Master of Occupational Therapy), M.Sc. Allied Health Sciences, etc.

For undergraduate courses, candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. They should have scored at least 50 percent marks in aggregate. For MBBS and BDS admissions, students must also qualify for the NEET examination as per the norms set by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Dental Council of India (DCI). For other UG programs, such as B.Sc. Nursing or BPT admissions will be based on merit and entrance tests conducted by SRIHER.

For postgraduate programs, candidates must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree in the respective discipline from a recognized university. For MD/MS programs, a valid NEET-PG score is compulsory. In the case of allied health or paramedical postgraduate courses, admission is based on academic merit and an interview conducted by the university.

On the portal, they need to select the desired course, register with a valid email ID and mobile number, and fill in all required details carefully.

After entering personal, academic, and contact information, they must upload scanned copies of the required documents, including their photograph, signature, and mark sheets.

The application fee can be paid online through net banking, debit card, or credit card options. Once the payment is completed, students should download and save the confirmation page for their records.

Candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully before submitting the online form. The university does not accept offline applications.
