The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 Round 3 revised provisional allotment for upward movement candidates. The allotment list is now live on the official portal at tneaonline.org.
The revised list covers candidates who opted for the Accept and Upward option in the earlier Round 3 tentative allotment. Two separate lists have been published for General Academic and Government Academic streams. How to Check the TNEA 2026 Round 3 Allotment?
Candidates who selected upward movement in Round 3 can now view their revised allotted seat. The steps below explain the process in full.
- Visit the official TNEA portal at tneaonline.org.
- Click on the Round 3 revised allotment link on the homepage.
- Log in using the registered email ID and password.
- The allotted college and branch will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the allotment letter for later use.
What Options Do Candidates Have After Allotment?
Every candidate must respond within the confirmation window. Four choices are open after the revised allotment goes live.
- Accept and confirm: Lock the allotted seat and report to the college.
- Accept and upward: Retain the current seat while trying for a better one in later rounds.
- Reject and upward: Give up the current seat and wait for a higher preference.
- Exit: Leave the TNEA counselling process fully.
After confirmation, candidates must report to the allotted college with all original documents. The reporting window ends on August 27, 2026 at 5 PM.
