AP PGECET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling Registration Deadline Extended to September 27; Check Revised Schedule

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has extended the Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) 2026 Phase 1 counselling registration deadline. Candidates can now complete registration and processing fee payment on the official portal at cap.apcfss.in till September 27, 2026.

The extension applies to admissions into MTech, M.Pharm and Pharm.D programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates with valid AP PGECET scores are eligible to register. Eligible GATE and GPAT qualifiers may also participate in the Phase 1 counselling.

APSCHE has also released a revised counselling schedule following the extension. The next steps include certificate verification, exercising of web options, and provisional seat allotment. All activities will be conducted through the common admission portal only.

• Candidates with a valid AP PGECET 2026 rank.
• Eligible GATE score holders seeking MTech admission.
• Eligible GPAT score holders for M.Pharm and Pharm.D.
• Candidates meeting APSCHE domicile and academic norms.

How to Complete AP PGECET 2026 Phase 1 Registration?

The registration and fee payment must be completed on the official counselling portal. Follow the steps below to submit the form on time.

1. Visit the official counselling portal at cap.apcfss.in.
2. Click on the AP PGECET 2026 Phase 1 registration link.
3. Enter your PGECET, GATE or GPAT credentials as applicable.
4. Fill in personal, academic and reservation details carefully.
5. Pay the prescribed processing fee through the online gateway.
6. Upload required documents and submit the application.
7. Download the filled-in form for future reference.

Documents Required for Certificate Verification

Original documents will be checked at the verification stage. Candidates must keep the following ready before their slot.

• AP PGECET, GATE or GPAT rank card and hall ticket.
• Qualifying degree marks memo and provisional certificate.
• Class 10 and Class 12 marks memoranda.
• Transfer certificate and study certificates.
• Caste, income and residence certificates where applicable.
• Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs.
