Good faculty: the faculty are well experienced and help students in better understanding
The students are eligible for placements after completing the 3rd year in the 4 year course with the good cgpa, many companies like zoho, amazon etc.
The scholarships are good, try to score good marks in the first semester, because the college will check your marks.

Dislikes

We have nsp scholarship support fron college college fees 450000 per year hostel fees 100000 per yesr fees structure is quit higher no financial assistance no stipend from college side no campus for bds.
I don't like the central library in our college, and i don't like one thing that there is no stage in our college
The hostel room are not good and water facilities in hostel is not good

The best college in Chennai- SATHYABAMA

Likes

They provide free food for students, staffs even the visitors
They have a good infrastructure and a clean environment
They provide free transportation for all peoples over there

Dislikes

If college gets rain the whole clg gets clogged by rainwater
Stray animals go here and there inside the campus
Sometimes the clogged water makes the whole campus messy

So placements here are far better from other colleges. A wode range of job opportunities are here. A lot of peoples are being placed through the campus recruitment. The best place to get placed in better companies in these competitive world

An honest insight into Campus life

Likes

The first thing i want to say is about the College Cultural fest. It was so good.
There's a free transportation facility. So it reduces the travel hustle.
International Research Centre and Research & development park

Dislikes

Mess food wasn't good. So i suggest you bring food from home.
Campus was quite strict that you can't even roam free inside the college
Improper Laboratory maintenance and Chemical stocks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was good compared to other colleges but due to the lack of good professors it's less explored. Practical subjects were good but there was limited equipments to do the experiments. So students adviced to study on there own.

mess food is free for everyone even for the day scholars
library is so good and accesssible to everyone
there are research centre in the college

Dislikes

canteen facility is not good there is no proper area where student can have food
there is loging of water during rainy season they need to cancel the college
washroom are not good water supply is nt consistent

from the 7 semester you can start campus placement i made tcs and i just have one offer amazon have offered a highest pacakge of 41.3 lpa 60 percent of them are placed i will work as emlpoyee in it sector

They will be providing free food for everyone in the mess for lunch.
The faculty are friendly and very helpful.
The transportation is free as there are 150 plus busses

Dislikes

The busses will be crowded some times, so it is some discomfort.
Sometimes there will be lots of rush in the canteen.
There will be faculties standing near the canteen and they will be scolding.

Placement Experience:

The placement will be happening for the 3rd year students who have registered already by paying 6000 rs. The topics companies like Accenture, TCS, wipro,etc come for placements. The highest package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I am opting for higher studies.

Best College with Friendly Atmosphere

I liked the food, and the mess provided in the college.
I liked the college architecture and maintenance.
I liked the fests and events organized in the college.

Dislikes

I didn't like the hostel facilities and rooms
The distance from the class to mess is very long
No proper water drinage system in the college

In our college atmost there will be placement for all the students. Our college has contacts with many companies around Chennai and around India too. Nearly around 250+ companies would arrive early year for the placements. Hence there will be a high chance for getting placements in our college.

my experience is such of the college needs an re-innovation of the whole college structure
faculty's has been the whole time , the mentorship quality and teaching methods are upto to the expected quality
campus facilities is still on the developing stage ,

Dislikes

according to my self view in the college , communication should be given properly to all the departments in the college
proficieny in english should be in applied in over campus classes
campus toilets and mess are in a worse condition , should be asked to re-innnovate

campus placements start around 3rd year or final year first semester period, during this period the students undergo various placement training guided by professional mentors , from companies like TCS, and HCL. The Student should not have standing arrear and a minimum CGPA of 6.5 in the course

Psychology at Sathyabama University

Likes

The Psychology laboratory was well equipped. It included a lot of psychometric experiements, questionnaires and tests to learn from.
Internship as a part of the curicullum was usefull to gain exposure.
There was a good mix of subjects from Forensic Psychology to Consumer Behaviour.

Dislikes

Focus on Research was comparatively less. Classes on Research Methology were taught but actual push to do research was not there because dissertation was not necessary.
Infrastructure is good but different facilities like classroom, lab, counselling room etc are located a little bit far.
Semester classes are comparatively shorter than usual. Half of the days are consumed by internal exams. So sometimes classes could be rushed.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 5th semester. But since Psychology students need a masters to work in the field, placement opportunities are less and not sought after also. Many placement opportunity to work as recruiters, hr is provided though.

They give more importance to education and provide quality information
The another most impressive thing in sathyabama university is the food they provide it is free of cost and i really appreciate that.
The fest they conduct once in a year and it will the best

Dislikes

The maintenance the do should improve they have lot of unused area thry should clean it
The teachers should behave properly some are criticizing the students
They should provide more facilities to the students and they should allow outside food

Placement Experience:

From 2 nd they will start campus placement training till 3 rd year and by the end of 3 rd you are eligible for campus placement and most of the companies are accenture Deloitte cognizant tcs... They offers got package actually but it depends on you The students should have min 70 percent to apply for placement and they should not have any arrears in any semester

The social life was good in the campus. the culturals were all superb and students may love being in the campus. The infrastructure they provide was good and the lab facilities in the International research centre and the research park was brilliant

Dislikes

The hostel facilities seems poor . The food provided were are good but the menu is repeated again like almost very one week that would be a drawback here.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for the campus placements . TCS, HCL, ICICI , TATA , TECH Mahindra Percentage of students getting placed is currently high. My plans after the degree is getting a pg degree

Sathyabama - better place to study or not

Likes

Food and travel are free. Nice teaching facilities.
Campus is big enough. Friendly seniors and juniors
No ragging is allowed in college. Overall a good place

Dislikes

Lab facilities are not too good .Can be made better
Construction of college is done on lake .
Not a student friendly place . That can be made a bit better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I was interested in research. However,the faculty strength in our department is a big low. But all the faculty members teaches well and had done their phd. Semester exams will be 4 months once the semester starts. Cae 1 and 2 will be conducted with proper timing. There will be lab exams also. Passing will be easy if you listen lo class properly and read

I'm a final year ECE student at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, and my experience has been truly wonderful! The faculty are highly qualified and supportive, always encouraging students beyond textbooks. Labs are well-equipped with regular practical sessions. The placement cell is very active with top companies like Amazon, HCL, Cognizant and Wipro visiting campus. Highest package was 41 LPA. Cultural fests and technical events make campus life vibrant and enjoyable.

Really liked the college overall ???? The campus and environment are good, and placements are pretty strong which is a big plus. Hostel facilities are not great, but they’re manageable—not too bad. Overall, a good experience!

I am currently studying at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. The university has a good campus with modern infrastructure and well-equipped labs. The faculty members are supportive and help students in academics as well as skill development. It also provides good opportunities through technical events, clubs, and placements. Overall, it offers a positive learning environment for students.
