Likes

The first thing i want to say is about the College Cultural fest. It was so good.
There's a free transportation facility. So it reduces the travel hustle.
International Research Centre and Research & development park

Dislikes

Mess food wasn't good. So i suggest you bring food from home.
Campus was quite strict that you can't even roam free inside the college
Improper Laboratory maintenance and Chemical stocks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was good compared to other colleges but due to the lack of good professors it's less explored. Practical subjects were good but there was limited equipments to do the experiments. So students adviced to study on there own.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i paid was 66000 per year. There's no separate fees for text books. Additional 500rs for ID card. But the management has increased the fees up to 90k per year. There's no scholarship for students since it's private university.

Campus Life

The only event to which all the students are allowed is the college cultural fest. Departments are allowed conduct events on their own. There's a Central Library where you can get books for Subjects as well as for Government examinations and entrance exams. There's a digital library as well

Admission

I joined the college after the pandemic. So i wasn't able to search for other colleges. I tried SRM but i finally decided to study here due to the fees structure. The application process wasn't difficult since i applied for Science degree.

Faculty

Few faculties were good while somewhere not even fit to be a professor. Only few will be teaching and you can learn from them. The rest were reading the ppt from slideshare and gives that as notes. Per semester i had 2 continuous assessment exams for internals and an end semester examination

Interview Experience

There's no written test pr interview for the admission of arts and science but you have SEE for engineering admission. So if you're going to join engineering it's best to be prepared. It's completely basics from 11th and 12th

Night Life

Since I'm a day scholar i don't know about the nightlife. But I'm sure that you're not allowed to go outside the college if you're a hostel student. So i recommend you to take a PG room outside the college. The college is located in OMR so you have good hangout spot around the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement will be happening for the 3rd year students who have registered already by paying 6000 rs. The topics companies like Accenture, TCS, wipro,etc come for placements. The highest package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I am opting for higher studies.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.

I have applied for GITAM, BITS but I have chosen Sathyabama over all these colleges, as the college is having good infrastructure and really delicious mess food along with good placements and faculty. I did not apply for any quota as it is deemed university. I have written its university exam. I got admission through that exam. In counselling, I asked them the Electronics and communication engineering. They have given them the course I asked for. There are no minimum marks or age criteria. First of all, the infrastructure and the reviews among the people played a greater role in selecting this college. The college has a very good infrastructure and the campus is always lit.
