Food and travel are free. Nice teaching facilities.
Campus is big enough. Friendly seniors and juniors
No ragging is allowed in college. Overall a good place

Lab facilities are not too good .Can be made better
Construction of college is done on lake .

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I was interested in research. However,the faculty strength in our department is a big low. But all the faculty members teaches well and had done their phd. Semester exams will be 4 months once the semester starts. Cae 1 and 2 will be conducted with proper timing. There will be lab exams also. Passing will be easy if you listen lo class properly and read

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 71000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 71000 for 1st year and 66000 for remaining 2 years. Cost friendly. Scholarship will be provided if you are the top ranker . I am not sure with stipend and all since we never got . Not sure about financial assistance too

There will be culturals once a year. Rather than that nothing else. Books will be provided according to you choice. there are plenty of them. Classrooms of our department can't be as said as excellent but moderate. There are sports which I am not aware of . Cubs is one of the club activity regarding science and research. Other than that there are maths club ,sports club, music club ,dance club , etc

Admission

There was an exam but I didn't write . I took direct admission for my course. But students writing and qualifying the exam should have better cut off in tuition fee . You need 10+2 (maths, physics, biology, chemistry) . Application can be done online by visiting college official website or done offline.

The pros and cons of avinuty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relavant to the coarse,iam a nutrition student and I came to study abot nutrition,but I have also learnt about microbiology, food evaluation,food making,food safety rules,food entrepreneurship etcc which increases the variety of opportunities based to the course. Iam happy that iam learning about diet planning which is why I chooses this course. It really helps in real world opportunities as they allow intership s,practicals,practices, competition etc.. The area it needs improvement is the language skills of the professors as there are other states students there some people cannot understand tamil so they have to teach intwo languages. The timings of exams is not that bad there is one and half month gap between exams.

Best college in south india, any course in this college means assured placements and college atmosphere is so pleasant in midst of centre of city with ease of commutation. Hostel facility is best with good atmosphere and good food

I have applied for GITAM, BITS but I have chosen Sathyabama over all these colleges, as the college is having good infrastructure and really delicious mess food along with good placements and faculty. I did not apply for any quota as it is deemed university. I have written its university exam. I got admission through that exam. In counselling, I asked them the Electronics and communication engineering. They have given them the course I asked for. There are no minimum marks or age criteria. First of all, the infrastructure and the reviews among the people played a greater role in selecting this college. The college has a very good infrastructure and the campus is always lit.
