Remarks:

Management rules are rigid and student societies are strictly banned. The rules and regulations are aimed at maintaining good campus environment but could be slightly restrictive. When not overly fussed about these minor issues SASTRA is a pleasant place to spend the most important 3-5 years of your life

Placement Experience:

Placement is nice. Mostly 99 percent of students get placed. We have Tcs,Wipro, Cisco,Ashok Leyland and many more.we have correct companies also. Average salary package is 30000.

Placement Experience:

Placement is based on cgpa you secure .100% are placed. Except for the students who aims for higher studies. They write some GRE, gate etc. Every one gets placed .

Remarks:

College gave good facilities, good knowledge, and many opportunities, we not had internship at that time,so this is improved now,at that time In hostel they were not provide non veg, We use department wise separate building, labs were good and equipment's were in good condition

Remarks:

Yeah. I would prefer youngsters involved into administration. Because there are many old people eating my head. It is the One of the best places of education ,rather one of the most disciplined places for an engineering student to survive(No engineering student loves discipline). I feel privileged to having secured a seat here because I denied an NIT seat to join here. its worth i guess

Remarks:

The timings are usually 9 AM to 5 PM with free hours in between, teaching is good and mostly by experienced faculties. SASTRA is very friendly.

Best college I have ever met. Sometimes feels over restriction but it should be there to regulate our fruitful life. College management always tries to be strict and good regulating our activities at the same time provide us freedom to explore as our wish.

Remarks:

The college management is basically one arrogant brahmin family most of them who haven't left their haughty ways. So it's hard to discuss things over with them especially if you want to quit in which case you have to pay the remainder of the college fees. In fact there are two research buildings, the bulk of the instruments for research in biotech, Physics and chemistry. Apart from that the rest of the departments are average except for the computer science department which is well below the required standard.
