My college was 3rd best university in Tamilnadu

College gave good facilities, good knowledge, and many opportunities, we not had internship at that time,so this is improved now,at that time In hostel they were not provide non veg, We use department wise separate building, labs were good and equipment's were in good condition

No such entrance exam I have written after my bachelor degree ,based on my percentage I got seat in this top college,there was small interview where some basic questions they have asked,They were only 25 seats for first highest percentage,As I have done my be with the courses like electronics,and I was interested in electronics ,which made me to choose power electronics in Mtech.

Electronics course have a good scope and using this our day to day life technology can be increased,the course which I took was fantastic,had interesting subjects,they gave us practical learning,we had many labs as the university is in top 3 ,while other university did not had labs.Yes research initiative were available in this college and many elective option were there to choose

Now if u join this college they will provide you internship at that time we not had even a single internship provided by the college,At that time students themselves has to go for internship,work there and have good experience and even no stipend amount was allowed,and for going outside for internship we have to pay more.

In our college placement scenario was best for BE,For Mtech we had less placements only,around 30% of students use to get place because of less placement,for BE 80% students use to get place in the companies like TVS,Wipro...etc.

They were more events for BE,at that Mtech students were not allowed to participate in the events,now they will allow,all the events were well organized.

For 1st year of my master degree 40,000/- rupees and then 2nd year of my master degree i paid 25000/- rupees per semester,it was affordable,For our books we should to pay seperately,for lab equipment's we use to pay seperately.Fees was not to high,now a days joining top college in engineering you have to pay in lakhs.which is more.

No scholarship were provided by the college, merit scholarship were given to every students,i don't remembers how much amount I use to get in scholarships

College was excellent in terms of extracurricular activities,we had lots of sports in our college,many of students use to participate in it, facilities were good.

Hostel facility in this college was good,at that time only veg food they use to provide us,no non veg food was available,no single rooms,2 or 3 or 4 sharing rooms were available,rooms were normal,

We use to have 3 internals,best of two were taken for final internal exam ,final exam also not made me to much tired ,if we study well we can get good marks,labs were interesting and even labs were not made me tired.

All teachers and professors were highly qualified and well experienced(around 10-15 years),only the problem was teachers were not friendly with us,they were strict little bit,They all were very much interactive,shared good knowledge and also gave more practical knowledge for every students.So overall standard of teaching were excellent.
