Fee details : Institutional Fees - 272000rs Hostel and Mess Fees - 94700 (1year) Total fees - 461400rs Average placement package is 7-9L and highest package is 40L in DoMS. Student Scholarship is provided.
As we all know NIT Trichy fees are very low especially if we compare to any other MBA college. Nit Trichy's total fees are 3 lac for 2 years. Nit Trichy also offers scholarships to the economically weaker section. The college also offers campus placement opportunities also offers internship opportunities with a stipend of an average of 20000 per month.
It is highly feasible with a greater return on investment. The total fee structure for two years is approximately 4-4.5 lakhs (incl. Hostel and Mess charges). Fees are paid in the semester pattern, i.e., twice a year. An education loan can be easily availed from banks present inside the campus. Students can also apply for a loan through the Vidya Lakshmi portal. NIT Trichy offers many merit-based scholarships.
No I didn't opt for it but the method to obtain those are In the branch of NIT Trichy, you can avail student loan. When you come to NIT Trichy for reporting, the branch people will be sitting in a separate room. You can apply for an account here and also get a student loan, which will just be by an application which you will have to fill on spot (Different applications for account and loan). Also, 2 - 3 other bank people will also appear and offer Student Loan. You can choose any of them by your convenience
I had not opted for any loan. If required it should be easy to get a loan as this is a central government funded institute and the fee structure is low and securing an admission itself is not that easy.
I have not opted for a loan or scholarship myself but its a very easy and hassle free process to get an education loan in the name of NIT from any bank, anywhere. The campus also has its own SBI branch to make the process much easier by granting on spot education loans. The college itself doesn't give any scholarships but as it is a central institute the scholarships can directly be availed from the central government.

From the above table, we can infer that NIT Trichy DOMS witnessed an increasing trend in terms of the average and median packages while the highest has remained the same.
Having known some people studying in both these institutes, I can say that BHU is a better university than NIT Trichy.
NIT Trichy considers the CAT score to select the candidates. Here, the students from different states enjoy the 50% quota for MBA admission. NITs are engineering-oriented and you might have less exposure in terms of management studies.
IM (FMS) Banaras Hindu University also enrolls students with a good CAT score. Combined merit is formed for the students of the MBA and MBA (IB) program. The merit includes:-
BHU’s major recruiters include -Infosys, Wipro, Tata Consultancy, Federal Bank, Ansal API, IDBI Bank, Pantaloons, etc.
Categories | MBA at NIT Trichy | MBA at BHU |
Course Fee | 2.89 lakhs | 1.5 lakhs |
Highest CTC | 12 LPA | 12-16 LPA |
Average CTC | 8 LPA | 8-10 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | HSBC, American Express, ITC, Asian Paints, etc. | Aditya Birla, Wipro, IDBI Bank, Reliance, etc. |
A total number of 38 companies visited and a total of 119 students were placed from campus. Thus, FMS BHU is quite prominent compared to NIT Trichy.
The MBA students of DoMS NIT Trichy will not be significantly affected by the presence of IIM Trichy during the placement season. NIT Trichy is a well-known technical institute and around 60% of the companies that come for Techies also come for NIT Trichy. This means that there is a set of companies that are already open to hiring NIT Trichy students. In the past few years, more and more companies have opened up placements for DoMS, increasing the percentage placement conversion from these companies. The Training and Placement Committee also works to bring in more companies that align with the interests of the students.
Additionally, there are alumni connections that can be utilized. There may be some challenges with companies based in Chennai or Bangalore coming from BIM, but IIM Trichy has a different set of companies and therefore will not greatly impact NIT Trichy in that regard.
