- Curfew for girls. This is the thing i think that my college is backdated or old fashioned .
- Wifi in hostel is not upto the standard which also i donot like that much.

No management quota

- The faculty is very much experienced in teaching. They teach every course with the great passion.
- The campus and overall sporting facilities are very good compared to other colleges.
Dislikes
- The language barrier in the state due to which you are not prefared for the higher positions in fest teams.
- The mess food is not good its just up to mark.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tuition fee increases once in 2-3 years but we will get advance information. There are a lot of scholarships available based on the category they belong to and their financial situation. There is a scholarship given by the alumni of our institute, that is benefiting the economically weaker students.
Likes
- The exposure I get here is really unmatched. The amount of experiences I am gaining being part of various clubs, fest teams and ncc is really helping me evolve into a very different person.
- Having numerous number of clubs. You can literally try out all your interests and finally land up on something you love.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities, they are taking 1 lakh per year but its not upto that mark. Not very bad but has a lot of scope of improvement.
- Internet quality throughout the college should be improved especially in places like library.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tuition fees is actually 62500 per sem. Odd sems additional 25000 will be added as annual charges. Assistance to students with financial problem is provided. Income based fee waiver system. Hostel and mess fees are around 1 Lakh per year. Slightly on the expensive side but all facilities for a loan and fee waivers are available.

- nit trichy have one of the toughest academics among all good colleges that motivates me more to study
- the campus is full of green tress which i love the most and good for health too
Dislikes
- there are few things i dislike such as library is far away from my department
- sometimes roads are full of mud it causes musquitos and insects to come in rooms

i have to pay 62500 per semister since i do not fall in any low family income catagory and i have to pay extra for my mess and hostel which is quite resonable in my opinion and there are other charges such as libary, medicle and wifi etc. and it is quite affordable

- Good placement and internship opportunities
- Good club culture, there are more than enough clubs to explore everything which we want
Dislikes
- Temperature is too much and weather is little harsh

If you are general or aOBC then you will have to pay 100% tution fees and mess fee which is near abt 2.5lkhs per year. Apart from this there is concession in institute fees for the students whose family income is less than 1lakh and 5 lakhs

- It provides 24*7 power supply so students will fell very confortable in hostels.
Dislikes
- Lack of communication or transparency from the administration
- In every hostels wifis will be there but hardly 4 or 5 rorors works in every floor

Scholarships and financial assistance is really good as it is an government institute. It's fees is also quite low compared to some private colleges. Campus placement have very good record which boosts the college ranking.

- The course plan is designed in a nice way that it enables u to fetch in depth knowledge of your course
- The diversity in culture . Students from all around the nation come here and u will get to hear multiple languages all around youself which helps in personality development
Dislikes
- The climate. It's super hot here in Trichy all along the year there are only two seasons summer and rain
- Discrimination and partiality is quite clearly visible among the locals and people from other states

After end of 2nd year companies provide internships and numerous companies of multiple domains hires from nitt with some handsome amount of stipends along with that the club and other things pave a path for u to upskill urself even more . Fees annually is 2 lakh for btech which includes hostel and mess too and in my opinion the rate of return is quite decent

In generally, we have two concepts of fees payment one is odd and another one is even in odd we pay less amount of fees and in even we pay more amount of fees. It's around 8 lakhs for four years and you can add your additional charges which you can spend.

NIT Trichy is a better option for EEE. The department has a brilliant faculty. Professors are well-experienced. The peer group is great. You will be among talented students. EEE has a 100% placement rate. Students receive salary packages in the range of INR 4 LPA - 20 LPA. Microsoft, Uber, HLS Asia, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in NIT Trichy placements.

NIT Trichy is comparable to some of the old IITs, in terms of placements. Almost all the students of B.Tech EEE are successfully placed each year, and some of them even bag multiple offers. Those who don’t sit for placements, opt for higher studies in prestigious Indian and foreign universities.
NIT Trichy will offer you an awesome campus culture, and lifelong memories. Its EEE branch is hectic, but rewarding at the same time.
