placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

This is one of the finest and hardest course because it mentally strange student there have to have a proper decorum they are lot of rules and the hostel work on hierarchy system we conduct PT every morning for 1 hour

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

Samundra institute of maritime studies offers 100 percent placement on the completion of course with no obligations. But if the candidate fails to complete the course and fails to obey the institutes code of conduct may be facing obligations in placement.
