Course Curriculum Overview:
This is one of the finest and hardest course because it mentally strange student there have to have a proper decorum they are lot of rules and the hostel work on hierarchy system we conduct PT every morning for 1 hour

Course Curriculum Overview:
Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

- The infrastructure of the institute is perfect for a student
- The institute has experienced faculty who has sailed for the years in maritime sector
- The daily routine of a cadet in this institute promotes positivity to the surroundings.
Dislikes
- This institute has less focus of festivals and programmes conducted by the institute.
- The level of conducting exams is easier but has frequent examinations which is good as well as bad for mental health
- The food in this institute is good but whereas for a south indian adopted for more spicy ness cannot be easily adopt this food
Placement Experience:
Samundra institute of maritime studies offers 100 percent placement on the completion of course with no obligations. But if the candidate fails to complete the course and fails to obey the institutes code of conduct may be facing obligations in placement. The candidate gets stipend for the first six months of sailing as junior engineer and cadet . The salary increases as the candidate clears clears the competency exams .

- The faculty to student ratio is phenonenal. Every student gets personal attention if he/she is genuinely interested.
- The placements are guaranteed if you don't have any backlogs. Only the best shipping companies from the whole world visit our campus. Substandard companies aren't even allowed.
- The campus is lush green and vibrant. The hostels are clean and the mess food is top notch. Every kind of sports is available.
Dislikes
- There are a lot of restrictions on students. They can't go out of the campus during weekdays.
- It's compulsory to opt for hostels. Students don't have the choice to stay outside the campus.
- There should be more events in the campus.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placements from the first semester itself.
BP,Stena,NYK,MOL,Carnival,PIL,Fleet,Synergy,Chevron,etc. are some of the companies which visit Tolani Maritime Institute regularly for placements.
95% students get placed in the course. I aim to get placed in a good company and pursue my career in this field.

- I liked the management system of IMI [international maritime institute] greater noida . And the faculty here is very good .
- I like the cleanliness maintained by the house keeping staff . which is the main thing every cadet look forward , when they wanted to live in the hostel for one year duration .
- here in IMI you can find the faculty very friendly and teaching is very nice . there is no doubt at all . techers are highly qualified here .
Dislikes
- there is nothing like i dont like everything is okay in this institution .so you can easily join this instituion for DNS.
- Here we have great many placement opportunities for cadets .

Placement Experience:
For DNS youll be getting sponsorship before getting into college admission . so there is no need to fear about college placements. and IMI has various types of MNC companies tied up with the college. after the completing one year course youll be out at sea for 18 months contract as a trainee cadet .

- Campus of the college is good and beautiful.
- Food in the mess is good for health and hygienic.
- Hostel facilities are good and every cadet feels comfortable in the campus.
Placement Experience:
From the first year itself people get eligible for the placement only they should have good score and many of the best companies visit and take good cadets every semester. Almost 100% cadets get placement.

- everything here is good and well maintained especially the environment , this is hill station you can even enjoy most unrealistic view , discipline is also maintained with no ragging at all , because of you are bound by legal form about anti ragging
- canteen food and especially breakfast and gym area
- faculty is highly skilled here having experience as captain
Dislikes
- time schedule and playground area and some language barrier is here
- campus is not that big which seems little boring
Placement Experience:
after completing this last semseter you will be send directly to ship for further training , executive ship management will assign you ship based on your rank ,100% students get placement it all depends on waiting period of getting ship , after getting degree apply for 2nd mate college and get license to sail as an officer

- I liked that it offers alot of sports to take part in.
- I liked that there was proper hygiene in hostel washrooms and proper 3 meal course were given.
- I liked that the college hosts various number of events and those are another level.
Dislikes
- I disliked the strictness towards the rules but it was necessary for the profession.
- There is rare leniency to expected in this college.
- Attendance has strict rules, even that below 75% attendance you will not be permitted to give exams.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is to the point. Everything taught is super related to the life at sea. And the college proviedes you with simulators worth lakhs and they help alot. Have a real ship inside campus and various outside courses are there to learn from.

The curriculum covers various engineering topics from Basic Electrical, Thermo Dynamics, Electrical, Electronics, Strength of Materials, to refregeration, Engine room experience, and live experience on engine hauling and other jobs in engine room
