The course is good and you can get a scholarship as mentioned and also people are present for scholarships and other offers for getting your fees reduced and campus placement is also good and facilities are also good
Faculty members are so friendly and good faculty and student ratio is 1:60 that is pretty good faculty is so friendly and frequent they so good with proper communication faculty are nice and educated they are well educated and free
Big companies like boeing and indigo comes for placement and campus interview

Dislikes

Some teachers are likely to be bad people in general and don't understand the students troubles
This college has some of the worst services when it comes to due fees, semester results , attendance shortage etc... Their ERP system is trash and they need to work on it
The fees department charges you extra unjustified charges.

Likes

College has many trees and has large area
Good lab facilities for all the subjects with good equipments
Multiple stores in campus and vending machine

Dislikes

Hostel and campus is far to walk and reach back in time

Placement Experience:

Some of my seniors i know got placed in companies like Boeing and airbus and other aerospace space top companies with good packages and many others got internship also with great stipend every month for them

My life at HITS.

Likes

The labs are well equipped with the high quality machines.
The teaching faculty are very nice and easy to approach.
The ambiance is very calm and peaceful with more trees and plants.

Dislikes

The college timing is from 8o clock to 4o clock.

Our college provides placements with very famous companies like Airbus, Boeing, Accenture, HCL and so on. They also provide coaching for interviews and entrance exams. And they provide equal opportunity for all.

ambiance: college has a welcoming vibe, good breezy zones & around 1000 trees
hostel rooms: besides food, my hostel room is cute enough and cleaning faculty are helpful
security: girls hostels have high prioritised security

Dislikes

admission process system is disaster, i donot know why we have to roam those many areas or cubicals to get a admission
COE office (HITS Admin office): worst management ever,they always irritate students with not issuing hall tickets, without any issue, my hall ticket was blocked 2 times and if i asked why there is no reply from staff as well
telugu students and festivals are always are underrated for these HITS adminstration

Course Curriculum Overview:

As per academic plan, for every 2 years academic curriculum changes by which academic plan gets advanced but the problem is faculty does not get updated with curriculum advancement. I am in 2018 regulation as academic schedule, which is enough updated and i feel junoiors have more advanced curriculum which they are reading with very basic aeronautical knowledge, by which they told it is becoming difficult for them to cope up.

Staffs are supportive in projects and exams
Good lab facilities and library with online access
Inter college culturals with price money

Dislikes

Hostel food might be no good som times there
Facilities in hostel should be improved like restroom
Fees is comparatively high and should be reduced

Placement Experience:

In this college every year nearly 100 companies will come for placement.but getting job is our hands we should perform well..But for that also college has a separate staff team named as placement cell with staffs who teaches all necessary things to crack our interview...we want put our efforts and coordination with those staffs will help to be placed in good company

Likes

The staff was very friendly and gentle towards students
The college is located in a good environment
The infrastructure was so cool and spacious

Dislikes

Hostels was not good because of the food they provide
The hostel fee was so high when compared to college fee
The college opening time was little bit fast

Yeah , they will give you placements if you are eligible to it . The eligibility criteria is you need to have above 7.5 cgpa inorder to get into placements . The average salary is 8lpa and highest is 15lpa

College campus is chill like for every year they'll upgrade your class, faculty are chill few hours may be bit strict
Sports is well supported like you can pickup any sport they'll help you
Clubs like literature club, horse riding club and all are there which are fun to do

Dislikes

Hostel is trash like no cleaning on time there will be delay
Erp system is trash like everytime thre will be trouble whether paying fees or smh
Holidays are less which is irritating evry semester there will be like a week break that's it

Placement Experience:

See for Evey course there is college placement like ibm , royal Enfield, Boeing and all are there to give you placements for each field they also provide internships from second year , most college dont do in this tier of colleges , Hindustan doesn't lack in that

Life at HINDUSTAN ????.

The most liked thing is the campus and the infrastructure.the ratio of b/g depends on each courses the approx percentage is 60:40.
Then the faculty, friends, seniors,food,water.
Most importantly all Saturday's are holiday.

Dislikes

They said that every Saturday was holiday but now they keeping classes on the Saturday, only for the first year students 😔.as I'm in first year I clearly don't know about the placement and hence as I'm heared it is some complicated.
As it was an autonomous college they collect fees from students.eg: attendance,low internal marks,any issue in hostel/campus/other places.
Some of the subjects are there we don't know for what the subjects is and it was compulsory eg:NSS/NCC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Openly I say that I don't know about the curriculum before joining the course. The timing of the exams are some complicated and there's some scarcity of time for preparation for exams. Making good decisions according to the classes and exam schedule.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

I liked the campus environment very much
I also liked the tech and labs provided for my course (aeronautical engineering)
I also loved the practical sessions provided by this course

Dislikes

Staffs are not upto the expertise level. Some of them don't even teach you classes and they expect us to know everything . This college is best for aeronautical and aerospace engineering for its labs and techs ONLY and not for staffs and teaching wis

College is very far from my home. The college is located in the south outskirts of chennai. So it is difficult for day scholars to come to college as well as for hostlers who need to go to airports or railway station

Placement Experience:

I am currently in 3rd year. From what I have heard and seen. There are core companies like Boeing, indigo etc.. who are regularly coming for campus placement. This year I heard that about 11-12 people for selected in Boeing for a package of 9-10 LPA. I can say one thing for sure that placements are only based on your individual performance and your skill set. Just learning the course isn't going to land you a job. All the people who are competing for this job has done the same thing like you did (ie complete this course). Try to know your basics very well instead of faking your CGPA. Attend lectures, competition and internship to keep that resume look unique

neat ,airy and spacious campus in Chennaione of the green campus in Chennai with more number of trees
more cheer up activities for freshers like gigs ,where they show there talents
faculty are highly experienced and helps students in their academics and placement related works and stuffs

Dislikes

the hotels inside the collage is not up to the standard in infrastructure its a bit too old fashion
restroom and class room are cleaned properly but not in a regular manner

the placement drive is actually good., but i have not seen any company with a dream package every cpmanies that walk in comes with a decent and average package... if some mnc's like microsoft ,apple comes it would be betteer for the studentys career. butr the collage management is doing great inplacements

Overall, Hindustan University is average at best.

The quality of education offered is not good. Most faculty members are fresh graduates and don’t have much experience.
The institute doesn’t have a good infrastructure. Although the institute claims to offer a good Aeronautical or Aerospace program, they don’t have good facilities or faculties to back up the claim. Besides a subsonic wind tunnel and four broken-down plans, the department offers zero facilities.
Hindusthan University fees are pretty steep. The B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering program costs around INR 14.39 Lakhs.
The institute doesn’t offer any internships or co-op opportunities to students. The placement opportunities offered aren’t worth the high course fee.

The college lacks basic amenities that are essential for the overall growth of the students.
