Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), Chennai, will begin registration for HITSCAT 2026 on December 10, 2025.

The HITS Chennai entrance test is for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate management programs, including MBA, at the university's School of Management.

The application processing fee is a one-time, non-refundable charge. For MBA admissions, the fee is INR 1,200, payable online or through a demand draft as per university instructions.

HITSCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

For MBA Aviation Management, the eligibility includes specific degrees such as B.Com, BBA, B.Sc. (Maths/Physics), B.A. (Economics), B.E., B.Tech., AMIE, AMAeSI, or BCA, with 50% marks. Only Indian nationals residing in India can apply for HITSCAT 2026.

HITSCAT 2026- How to Apply?

• Candidates should visit the official Hindustan University admission portal (apply.hindustanuniv.ac.in) to register and fill out the application form.

• Applicants must provide personal and academic details, upload required documents, and pay the application fee to complete the process.

• The registration window will remain open until May 22, 2026, with the entrance exam scheduled for May 25 and 26, 2026.
