Banasthali Vidyapith College Review

Likes

The college environment. No pollution, no kind of distraction, helps focus on studies.
faculty is very helpful and understanding.
there are 2 markets in the campus and eating outlets which serve good quality food.

Dislikes

there is no exposure for students as they are not allowed to go out of the campus without a written leave permission from their parents.
The doctors are not good and there are very little availability of medical facilities.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for college placements in the final year. Industrial training of 6 months is also given. Companies like Zee Media, Raymonds, The Yellow Tree, Aditya Birla Group make an offer and visit the design department.

Decent college for the girls

Likes

I like the experience they provide , the opportunities ,the confidence I have after being in this college for 3 years , the competition here .
The other activities other than studies in sports and creativity is also quite good.
The nature here is very calming . It feels relaxed when you see sunset or sunrise while sitting alone or with your friends in evening or morning.

Dislikes

I do not like the paper work for everything here . Most of the formalities are still running in paper work in this Ai world, which is hectic.
I didn't like the lack of exposure here.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

My 3 years at Banasthali

Likes

The greenary and clean air. The skies are the prettiest there.
The campus is a very safe environment for girls.
Ths focus on overall development of a student.

Dislikes

You have to get permission to go out from the campus
Bad internet connectivity. Wifi for laptop comes for limited hours.
Minimal voice of students in the campus decisions

The curricula are quite comprehensive and relevant. They also have labs and incubation centres to further enhance the learning and growing experience. Exams comprise of 2 unit tests, 1 project and 1 final exam.

Banasthali is best for girls!!

Likes

In our campus, we can roam till 10 pm and there is no restriction on wearing what we want to.
Unlike other girls hostels, we have washrooms inside our rooms and that makes things easier for us.
Our course is tough and each department has their special classes and fests.

Dislikes

Girls hostel rooms are very small and also mess food isn't that good.

For Humanities it's compassion and because that has been my core, I chose this subject. There are various other specialization but I chose this and now since I have finished my course, I feel I did the best. One improvement I want is to get some assistance in finding jobs as that is one grey point or weak area about our college.

Here we get full security, and pure environment full of greeneries and beautiful birds, peacocks, and many more animals who never cause any harm to anyone.
Faculties over here are well qualified and talented. Most of them holding PhD degree
We get confirmed campus selection irrespective of our branch and field

Dislikes

Network connection is very bad because the university is in a very remote area
Mess food is healthy but they have no taste. Our taste buds have almost died if canteens won't be here
College fee is costly but also market inside campus is also very costly. As we are not allowed to go out of campus w/o parents permission letter which take days to reach us via post, so this shopkeepers take advantage of that.

Placement Experience:

In Banasthali getting internship is very easy .. we have lots of oppurtunities over her. I'm in first yr but still through suggestion from my faculties i got admission into launched which is providing me certificate in Web development course and also i am assigned with major project of creating a website where one can see animes and track their watching playlists. Campus selction of most of the students are confirmed here just nearly of 5-10 students could not make upto due to their lack of skills. Many renowned companies like AMAZON, MICROSOFT, AIRTEL, DELOITTE, etc.. visit our campus regularly. Highest package this yr reached upto 25 lpa while average package was 9-11 lpa. According to my knowledge in my branch 90% of seniors got placed with respectfull packages like 18, 16, 10 lpas and reemaining 7% seniors got median package of 7-9 lpa .

Likes

I like the overall campus which provides the feature to learn almost any activity present for free. 2 different whole markets are available inside the campus, as it is a closed campus you can access the hospital, restaurants etc.
Closed campus and an all girl's university which ensures 100% safety and security.

Dislikes

Sometimes all girl's can be a little bit exhausting but if u make friends then you'll get through this
Too much security can feel controlling and irritating.

Placement Experience:

I am myself a 1st year student currently and Don't know much about the college placements but I think around 4th year u can opt for placements. Multinational companies visit here like infotech, BHEL etc and if ur merit is good then ur placement is guaranteed to be amazing. The bv placement cell offers different positions in companies and their salaries can vary from 100000 to 10,00,000. 95% students get placement successfull. I plan to pursue LLM after completing this course then maybe going for law executive pr maybe PCS J examination.

Banasthali Vidyapeeth is best!!

Our campus is one of the most safe and secured place for girls as in our hostels too we have female guards.
It is at a location where there ain't much things but peace more than expected.
Students here live with utmost Harmony and compassion as that is how we are taught here.

Dislikes

Our uniform is 80s style and I think at least full length trousers and all should be made instead of traditional dress that we have.

Our college has given us training as i am in my final year and a month back we all got placed. So, 100% placements have happened and we all have appointments from top IT companies that operates in India. Overseas placements also have happened but last year all placements happened within the country itself.

Life at bansthali

Likes

Safe environment for girls as we were allowed to move freely in the campus
Good food was provided by hostels and special meals was provided Tuesday.
Every Tuesday ice cream was given alwasya

Dislikes

Not allowed to go out of campus as it was restricted

Placement Experience:

In the third year of BCom bhi were introduced to the placement centre of our college and their many companies came for which we were of supposed to give interview question get selected for the jobs so the companies come in that college and the placements you get is upon your ability to get it

Likes

Co curricular activities are very good here
Atmosphere and vibe of the college is positive
Academics are very great here in this college

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is 1 is to 0 as it is a women's university
Food is not so good but can be managed somehow
Process for leave is very long and tiring

Faculty and the way of teaching is very excellent also our faculty male sure that we understood everything and have notes of every topic .
Placement service is also very good they make sure that every one is placed
The teaching method is smart and they use mostly practical implementation in order to make things understand to us.

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike about this college according to me.

The courses they provide are like operating system c++ java AI Machine learning and many more and they give projects real world project in order to make things easier also faculty provide help at each step so that we are able to tackle the challenges.

My sister chose to pursue her graduation and post-graduation from Banasthali Vidyapith. She enjoyed all of the benefits of staying on campus, such as participating in extracurricular activities, being autonomous, and so on.

Check the following points for a brief review of Banasthali University:

In terms of academics, Banasthali University has a lot to offer. It is a strong contender in many of them - computer science, MBA, Home Science, Literature and Language, Social Sciences, Mathematics, and so on.
It also has adequate sports facilities, but they can be improved. Banasthali University does not have separate coaches for many sports.
The only thing that would bother you is the strength of the classrooms. At times, it will be completely unacceptable
Banasthali VIdyapith fee structure is also inexpensive, despite any financial difficulties, you can easily cover the costs of most of the courses.

Overall, Banasthali University offers a wonderful experience. Despite its flaws as an institution, it has many characteristics that make it wonderful and valuable.
