Decent college for the girls

The new branch here i.e. artificial intelligence make me choose this because at that time not all institutes had this branch . In 1st year all the branches are provided the same knowledge and most of it is related to 12th and 11th from second year onwards students are prepared for their specializations whatever they chose , 2nd year is mainly theory and less of practical from 3rd year onwards things become more practical less theory And we are being prepared for the real world. Curriculum and teaching methods needs to be change a little so that they can match today's world but most of it is good , all the basic knowledge has been provided to us. The difficulty level of all the exams is medium and easy for extra subjects. And yes is you would not study and leave all of it for the last night you will find them difficult , this review is for my branch computer science -Artificial Intelligence. There are 2 periodical exams with the gap of 1 month in between and then the finals in 1 semester, total 3 examinations and 2 assignment for each subject in 1 semester.

Internship roles offered was swe by maximum companies only 1 came for data scientist role (eaton) for summer internships which offered 50k stipend and other swe roles were offered 60k to 1lac majorly per month. The names were jpmc, goldman sachs , oracle ,visa, rippling,bny,ubs , Flipkart and 1 or 2 others. One main project we have to do in 3rd year 6th semester undertaken by mentor guidance .

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Yearly fees is 350000 approx including hostels, campus, tution fee etc. Admission fees is 10000 approx And security fees is 10000 which will be returned after degree and there is no category divisions There is a nri criteria and their fees is 50000 more than normal fees nearly . There are various forms inancial aids provided by the institute but I do not exact amount knowledge of that . One of them is merit cum neet.

Biggest fest in Banasthali is Apaji fest in November Then biggest tech fest is mayukh in March start There are other fests also in various months of different courses that all the students can enjoy . There are smart boards in classes and good labs for each branch. Each and every sport is played here be it outdoor or indoor, swimming, horse riding, cricket etc. There is nss , ncc and other student clubs (technical and social) which plays important role in boosting confidence of students.

Study table(have 2 cupboards, tubelight),cupboard, triple seater room , 1 single bed , mattress and 1 pillow is been provided, Only some of the hostels have double seater in undergraduate And post graduates hostels have 1 bed seater . Meal is quite okay with variety of foods for all four time (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner) dinner - milk and breakfast ( milk and tea) and other items. Hostel are affordable 60000 is yearly fees but has no ac or coolers all over the campus hostels (biggest drawback) There are no pg allowed.

Honestly, I did not applied for any other colleges , I directly applied for Banasthali, gave exam and got admission other than this I might have applied for josaa counselling but Didn't because I got admission call from this college. I chose Banasthali over other colleges because I thought it is far better among rest of the private colleges outside There is a different exam for Banasthali which is organised by institution itself, it is online mode and difficulty is medium like if you have prepared for boards nicely then you will be able to crack it too , it has four sections physics, chemistry,maths , logical aptitude and English . I have no idea about cut off but if you score more than 50-60% you will crack it I guess. Then they will call you according to the branch offered to you , your branch will be decided on the basis of marks , cs/it/ai>ec>ee>ei>mt ofcourse you can switch to the lower branch if you want , this is just the order they arrange, i find mt branch interesting otherwise. Then you have to go to the college for counselling session and other formalities and then they alot you a date for hostel settling and all.

Maybe the student and faculty ratio is 3:5. Most of the faculty and staff here is females working , and be it male or female the faculty here is approachable and helpful . Other than few faculty, they are very knowledgeable and helps students when feel them stuck .

There are gyms that are open at 5am to 8am and 5pm to 8pm. Cafeterias open from 10am to 9pm alongwith the other shops (stationery etc) Hostel timings are 5 am to 9pm and you cannot go out of the campus without leave application. Locality is absolutely safe on the main areas in the dark , you should not roam alone in the backwards for safety reasons.
