- they offer huge variety of co curriculars. be it dance , singing , instrumental, arts and crafts like pottery , sketching , block painting, wooden sculptures etc.
- all types of sports activities are provided from aviation to horse riding and swimming to shooting
- teachers and their way of teaching , innovative webinars are really keen
Dislikes
- in campus transportation is very poor, meta (campus bus) is there but they are very few and not sufficient for all the students .
- paper work procedures are huge and very tiring. even if you want to go home the leave application procedure will make you dry.
- 75% attendance is compulsory for giving exams and no reliefs are provided even in special cases or medical emergencies.
Course Curriculum Overview
in the first year we felt a little strange about what we are being taught and how it is going to useful for us , but know in the second year, we are easily understanding the subjects , it's requirement, and future needs and use . all the subjects are very relevant to our future working environment or the field we choose but they left us with a confusing thoughts of what field to choose. teachers gives notes, shared extra PDFs and links , use smart boards, explain contents in class etc for the teaching purpose. the only thing I feel is negligence of not telling the students how to choose the right field as of their interest and choice.
Placement Experience
campus placement of some courses are really cool and high as sky. courses like btech, mba , aviation and some other are the gold gems and recieve high placement rates. but their are some courses with little to no campus placements, the rest of the courses lies with decent and great opportunities round the corner.
Fees and Financial Aid
the total fees for BBA in Banasthali Vidyapith is around 5-6lakhs including hostel, mess, development and other fees or charges. On yearly basis we have to pay around 1.5-2lakhs in semester basis (twice a year) . their fees system is fixed , hence not increasing but they offer various scholarships. the scholarships can be of their own in campus introduced, or any state or government initiative. they have other need-cum-merit based scholarships offered by different renowned personalities like Mr Dalmian ji, etc.
Campus Life
there is no socializing in Banasthali. we could say banasthali is a whole package of packed environment where no one from outside is allowed and no one from inside is allowed to go. we have in campus general stores, canteens , hospital, movie labs( in department lecture theatre) , medical store all in here. yes in departments we have different clubs. and posts of responsibility.
Hostel Facilities
rooms and room essentials are nicely provided, we have few 2and4 seaters and rest all 3seater rooms . total here we have 52 hostels. all of girls. bed, mattress, study table , chair , almirah, wall fan , tubelight is provided in the room for each student. bathroom is a sharing and community based . we have menus set for our meals but the quality is low to ok. four meals are provided breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner.
Admission
i chose this college because of it's reputation and recognition in the world. it's world's 2nd best women's residential university. the success rates of the alumni and past students are high and they are very well known by all in the world in each of their field. they gained huge fanbase and excellence in their work and got the all best opportunities which motivated me to choose banasthali university over any other.
Faculty
faculty members are very sweet and helping except for some , they understand the needs and requirements of students. most of them asks students for their preferring language in order to study. both English and Hindi mediums are allowed and offered for exams and study materials. they follow semester based exams (twice a year) and two periodicals in each semester before end semester examination. talking about the study materials, we get it for free from the campus's central library or department library of each course. the books are issued on our I'd cards . we can issue other books for reading and knowledge gaining purposes as well
Night Life
yes we have gym, cafeteria, library all with we'll equipped ornaments and others too but all of them has certain timings. we can roam in all campus areas but can't go out. we have to return to our hodtfls by 8:30-9 p.m. after that the gates of hostels gets locked and dinner is also closed. everyday we have to give counting or attendance to our hostel wardens as well
