JKLU A HIDDEN GEM UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN.

The advanced and dynamic world which is moving towards fintech industries influenced me to choose this course. The faculty always gives us assignments based to real life knowledge that requires us to apply the knowledge and then complete the assignment. There is no improvements that the faculty is needed to make as they are perfect what they teach and how they teach. The exams are timed perfectly right after the course is completed and difficulty is very hard but you can shine in exams if the concept is cleared to you completely and you have done all the assignments.

The companies like Reliance , L&T, IIT jammu, HDFC bank , etc provides internship through the university under different roles that is accounts executive trainee, HR intern, Sales intern, Marketing intern, R&D execrable trainee, etc. stipend start from 3k per month and goes up till 20k per month depending on th work load. The internship is an compulsory course of the college which consists of 4 credits. In this course we have to learn from the internship and apply it in real world also we have to submit a report and give a presentation to the college on the basis of the work done and all the other criteria we are marked and judged.

From the start of the second last semester of the university you are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Khatabook, JK group of companies, reliance, visits the university for placements and make a generous amount of offers to the students. The highest package in BBA was given last year to a student was 14.5 lakhs/PA and the average package lies between 5.5-6 lakhs/PA . 100% of the students who sit in the placement gets placed by the university. Mostly students don't get placed when they like to pursue higher studies after graduation. After graduation I would also like to start preparing for my MBA.

The tuition fee gets a hike of 10% per year. For my course that is BBA(banking and fintech) the complete cost of education including hostel and mess charges are 9-9.5 lakhs total. The college itself provides the scholarships to the students who have done excellent in their secondary and senior secondary exams. Scholarships starts from 25% and go up till 100%. The university gave me an opportunity to complete my internship with a renowned company namely Symsafe Systems pvt ltd. Where I was part of their newly launched startup upaaj in which i was reponsible for their data collection, assortment, product sourcing and product assortment. I was provided a stipend approx 15k for 45 days.

Sabrang is the annual cultural fest of JKLU and it is held between October-November. Also JKLU organises HACK jklu which is event for tech enthusiasts the event is held between months of march-april. The library(LRC) provides access to around 5000+ books related and non related to course. All of the classrooms are digitally equipped and have dolby audio for better sound. In the sports sector the university provides sports like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc. and 2 sports event are held in an academic year that is 'muqabala' intracollege event and 'spardha' intercollege event. Many groups are run by students in the campus like astrology club, sports club, dance,music, quiz club and many more. Which provides opportunity to follow our hobby too.

The rooms are provided on 2 basis: double sharing and triple sharing. Also AC and Non Ac rooms are available. Rooms are furnished with bed studty tables, side table chairs, almirah and book shelves. Mess provides nutritious and healthy food that is tasty too and the menu of the mess changes every week depending on the taste buds of the majority students. The registration of the hostel can be done via admin block after you have taken the admission and hostel costs 140000 per year including mess charges. Besides that AASRA a near by residential society provides flats to students if one doesn't want to avail the hostel facility.

The students who scored above 55% in their senior secondary exams are eligible for this course. Everyone can find more details like application form, application and application dates on the university's official website that is www.jklu.edu.in. The exams are held thrice a semester that is 2 midterms and 1 end terms like any other private university and the difficulty of the exams are high but don't worry you can easily crack the exams if you were paying attention in the classes your concepts are cleared and you've done all the assignments. The admission proccess lacks only in the advertising area the university doesn't advertise themselves as they should for the admissions.

The faculty ratio is approximately 20:1 considering all the three years. All the faculty members have completed their graduation from either IIT's or IIM's. Their teaching method mainly consider of ppt's and interactive sessions. The faculty here is available during all the college hours and we can interact with whenever we wish to talk to them also we can mail them for any contact after the college hours

There was no such group discussion or written test but there was personal interview with the course coordinator and for me the second person our Vice chancellor. The second professor vary student to student. They mainly ask why did we choose to admit in the course and talks with us to know what all are our interests. Admission process is simple we fill the application form and then if we are shortlisted we get a confirmation from the university's side and then we should be ready for our personal interview any moment. It's our wish if we want a telephonic interview or a face to face interview. I suggest to take up face to face interview as it provides better insights to us and to university. The questions weren't too hard for me so I was prepared to take them head on.
