- Discipline is very strict - limited outing , fixed schedules , strict dress code ,compulsory to take one activities and many restriction , which may feel overwhelming.
- Placements are average , especially for non - technical courses and student often rely on self - efforts.
- Less industrial exposure because fewer industrial visits , internship and collaborations compared to metro - city universities.
Course Curriculum Overview
* Overall Rating - The MCA curriculum is academically strong and fairly comprehensive . - It focuses more than on theoretical knowledge and core computer science concepts. * Aspects that influenced My decision to choose - Structure syallabus covering a progamming , database , software enginnering and core computing subjects . - Strong emphasis on fundamentals , which is useful for long-term learning. -Reputation of the univerity for discipline , regular evaluation and academic rigor . *Preparation for real- world Application & higher studies -The curriculum prepares me well for higher studies , competitives exams and conceptual understanding . - For real - world industry application ,preparation is moderate , as practical exposure is limited . -Students need to do self learning , internships and projects to be industry- ready * Area for Improvement (Curriculum &Teaching Methods) - More focus should be given to hands on labs ,live projects and real- world case studies. - The syllabus should be updated be with current technologies . - Teaching methods can be improved by including interactive session , coding based learning and industry interaction. *Exams : frequency , Timing and difficulty level - Exams are conducted semester-wise , along with internal assessments , assignments and presentation . - The exams schedule is regular and well-structured . -The difficulty level is moderate to slightly high due to the theory - oriented nature of the exams . - Students who study consistenly and maintains attendance can clear exams without much difficulty .
Placement Experience
* Campus placement at Bansathali Vidhyapeeth are average , especially for Mca . * Placement opportunities are available , but not all students placed through campus. 1.Eligibility for Placemant - Student generally become eligible for campus placement from tthe final / last semester of the Mca program. - Eligibility is usually based on academic performance ,with a minimum CGPA or percentage requirement set by the university or recruiting companies . - Students must have no active backlogs at the time of placement registration . - Completion of projects / internships is preferred by many recuiters . - Some companies may conduct pre- placement tests , such as aptitude , coding or technical assessments , to shortlist activities . 2.Companies Visited &offer - A few IT and serives - based companies visit the campus - Companies usually offer roles like Software Trainee , Junior Developer , Technical Support or Analyst roles . - The number of offers is limited compared to top technical institutes. 3. Highest & Average Package - Average package : 3 - 4 LPA - Average package : 6 - 8 LPA(varies by courses and steams) 4. Placement percentage - Approximately 40-60% of students manage to get placed through campus placement . - Students with strong technical skill , projects and interships have better chances . * Employability & Skill Development - The curriculum provides strong theoretical knowledge , but students need extra skill development for employability. - self - learning in programming , development tools , internship , certification and real - world project is essential . 5. My plans After completing the degree - I plan to focus on improving my technical and practical skills beyond the syllabus . - I intend to apply for off - campus job opportunities in the IT sector . - I will work on projects , internships and certifications to strengthen my resume

I am pursuing my course at Banasthali Vidhyapeeth and over a time small increament in fees structure I am able to see My fees Structure :- 1st Year :1,65,000 2nd Year:1,60,000 3rd Year : 1,60,000 Total fees for the complete course:4.8-5 lakhs Annual fees structure:- Tuition fees :85,000-95,000 per year Registration fees: 2,000 Development fees: 8,000-10,000 Mess charge and Hostel:45,000 per year Security deposite:20,000 Lab fees:6,000-8,000 So overall ,the fees are all-inclusive like Medical , sports & other campus facilities Category -wise fees for SC/ST Category is around 1.2 -1.3 lakhs per year and Management /paid seats around 1.8-2 lakhs per year. Scholarship is given based on academic performance + family income (Merit - cum_Need scholarship) and the amount is 15,000-40,000 per year . SC/ST Scholarships are government funded and Tutition fees reimbursement . Single Girl Child Scholarship and Economically weaker student scholarship. Scholarship are usually credited directly to the bank account or adjusted in fees.

* Overall Campus Environment - Campus life at Banasthali Vidhyapeeth is disciplined , peaceful and structured . - The environment is academically focused with limited but meaningful social interaction . - Being a fully residential women - only campus , it offers a safe and secure atmosphere. 1. ANNUAL & TECHNICAL FESTIVALS - Apaji festival - Celebrated around October , focusing on culture , tradition and hertiage . - Mayuk Fest - This is held for btech , Mca , Bca department fest . - Tech- based activities - Organized department - wise through seminar , workshop , coding events and guest lectures through not large - scale technical fests 2. Library Facilities - The central library is wide range of academic textbooks , reference books , research papers and journals . - Access to international and national journals - Automation libray - having all technical and mathematical books . - Easy Library access with having computer and internet faclities for exam preparation and research work . 3. Classrooms Infrastructure & Technology - Classrooms are spacious and well - ventilated . - Most classrooms have basic projectors and smart boards . - computer labs are available in every departmnet . 4. Sports & Extracurricular activities - Strong emphasis on sports , yoga and physical education . - Facilities available for Athletics , badmintion , volleyball , NCC and NSS . - Regular many type of Competitions are conducted . 5. Students Clubs , Social group & portals - Various cultural , literay , sports and services based clubs operate . - Students participation in drama , dance , music , debates and awarness programs . - Activities are mostly faculty- guided rather than student - led , promoting discipline and teamwork . - Internal student portals are used for academic notices , results and administrative communication .
Admission
* Colleges Applied to & Admission outcome - I applied for MCA at BIT MESRA . - I got selected , but not for the main campus . - The offer was for an off-campus / extension campus ,which was not my preference . *Why I did not Join BIT MESRA -My main preference was the main campus , mainly due to better exposure and placements. - Since I did not get the main campus , I decided not to join . - Additionally , my parents are strict and relocating far or joining an off- campus institute was not acceptable to them . - Due to these reasons , I chose Not to proceed with Bit Mesra . * Why I chose banasthali vidhyapith over others - Offers a safe , discipline ,women- centric environment which was important for my family - The university has a structured academic system and strong focus on learning . - The MCA curriculum is well- defined , with strong focus emphasis on core concepts. - It provide hostel facilities , security and a controlled campus environment . * Rejection from other colleges and What went wrong - Yes , I did receive rejections from several MCA colleges that i applies to. The main reasons was high competition and limited seats for MCA programs , especially in government and reputed institutes. - I also appeared for the Cuet-pg exam with the aim of getting into a government colleges. However , due to high cutoffs , cutoffs , intense competition , and limited availabivity of seats . * What mainly went wrong was: - Very high competition for MCA . - Limited number of government colleges offering MCA. - Cut off scores being higher than expected . - Strong dependency on entrance exam rank and seat availability. ADMISSION PROCESS :- *Eligibility 1. Graduation with mathematics ar 10+2 or graduation level 2. Minimum percentage as per university norms. *Entrance Exam 1. CUET_PG is most peferred and common exam among students . *CUT OFF 1. Admission depends on CUET_PG score ,eligibility and seat availability . *Admission Experience 1.
Faculty
* Faculty-to-Student ratio, adequate , allowing proper classroom interaction and classes are generally well managed with a reasonable number of student . *The relationship is formal yet respectful and Many faculty memeber are approachable during class and doubt - clearing session, through outside access is limited . *Faculties you liked:- -Severval faculty members are experienced , Knowledgeable and conceptually strong . - They explain topics clearly , provide notes and guide student . - the best faculties are those who are supportive , disciplined and focused on conceptual clarity. *Faculties that you Don't like :- - A few faculty members follows a strict , textbook-based and less interactive teaching style. - some student feel a lack of practical explanation or flexibility , which can make learning less engaging . *Examination System and Difficulty level :- - The System includes 2 Perodical and 2 assignment in one semester . - Two Periodical are of 10-10 marks and 2 assignment are of 10-10 marks and semseter is 60 marks . - Exams are of moderate difficulty and manageable with regular study. Overall pass percentage : 90%-98% Failure rate:2% -10% - The failure rate is not very high , mainly affecting student with poor attendance or irregular preparation. Backlog System: yes (student can reapper in exam later) Pass marks : around 33% per subject. * Course Curriculum - Academic Relevance : high - Industry Relevance : moderate - Focus area : Theory and fundamentals , limited practical / industry - oriented exposure . - Curriculum structure : well defined , systematic and value - based subject.
Night Life
* Banasthali has a very limited nightlife due to its strict , disciplined and residential campus culture. * Night life here is more about quiet bonding , hostel activities and self time . 1. After 8pm all are cafeterias , gym , library are closed .And all public areas are also closed . 2.Campus Timing & Restrictions - Hostel Entry / Exit - after 9 pm in evening students are not allow to go and you can go out 4 am in morning. - Campus Movement - free to allowed to go that area which are premitted by the collage - Outing - outing is highly restricted and allowed with proper written permission. 3. After 9pm you are not allowed go out from your hostel so we do activities inside the hostel :- - Group study - Late - night talks , gossiping and story telling . - Watching movies - You can only roam in your hostel . - But at 6 pm we generally go to cafe and drink chai with friends and do are normral disscusions. - very limited hangout location because of restrictions.
