Course Curriculum Overview

5

I personally did not really know about what to do but law somehow got my interest and management also so I opted for bba llb. For practising law, moot exercises are mandatory from 2nd year and it really helps u in real time implications. Teachers give u notes and extra material to study from which is beneficial in exams. Exams are not that tough and even if u have attended classes properly then u can score good. Exams duration can vary from 1.30 hour's to 2.30 hours depending upon the type of exam.

Placement Experience

5

I am myself a 1st year student currently and Don't know much about the college placements but I think around 4th year u can opt for placements. Multinational companies visit here like infotech, BHEL etc and if ur merit is good then ur placement is guaranteed to be amazing. The bv placement cell offers different positions in companies and their salaries can vary from 100000 to 10,00,000. 95% students get placement successfull. I plan to pursue LLM after completing this course then maybe going for law executive pr maybe PCS J examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I have opted for BBA LLb, 5 year course I paid around ?250000 for 1 year which includes my tution as well as hostel fees. Scholarships are available for different categories and students can choose to register for them. my other friends in different courses have different fees like for bcom they pay around 1,50,000-200,000 which includes tution and hostel feels with seminars clubs etc included. According to me this fees is worth it as university's campus provides five fold activities in which u can take part for free for most of them. Some certificate courses require fees but it's affordable and can be deducted from your security fees.

Campus Life

5

Different departments have different fests like the law and management department collectively hold the 2no fest in around February, computer science department holds Mayukh in around March then there are other fests like navotsav, adhyaay etc. Each department has it's own Library where u can find books related to ur course and can order books if needed. In the central library which is open for all the students in the campus(even for the school students) you can find thesis, journals, biographies, novels, and books for every genre. The library also has a big reading area and a wooden fairy touch to it which is my personal favourite as it makes it aesthetic. The classrooms have smart boards and mic facilities witch technicians available so to prevent any technical issue. Every sport can be learnt and is taught by professional coaches. basketball, football, badminton, kabaddi, cricket, horse riding, Archery, handball, Gym, gymnastics and what not. Dance teams presenting banasthali like black illuminators, Street dancers and freezy freaks and entertainment teams like black and white entertainment etc are present and take auditions for students every year.

Hostel Facilities

5

Basic facilities like electricity and 24/7 running water are available and electricity never goes out. You can keep kettles, irons and other electrical appliances unofficially but otherwise it's not allowed. Meals are comparatively better than other colleges and menu for a week is pretty decided by a dietician and nutritious meals are given every day. On Tuesdays ,which is the weekend here, we get special meals with a sweet dish. And on festivals and special occasions also we can have special and tasty meals. During the time of admission hostel registrations are also completed and hostels are allotted according to your course.

Admission

I applied to DAV in Indore also but for the same course. But I couldn't get my parents to allow me to send me there as it is really far from my hometown so I had no options left except this one. But I don't not regret it and I am satisfied right now. I couldn't go to DAV as my Merit was also low in the CUET examination and my parents also didn't want me to go so far. In banasthali, u can take admission on merit basis and different courses have different merit requirements like bba llb has a merit requirement of 80% in 12th. Ba llb has comparatively low requirement. U don't have to give CLAT to join llb here. The admission procedure can be a long and exhausting one as u have to do it all yourself but it's for security purpose only and worth it.

Faculty

5

Faculties are super helpful and Frank and not like other colleges who seem to be unapproachable. They are always ready to solve any issue and u can take problem solving classes. The marking scheme is also okay as they give marks on the basis of the content Nd not how many pages u have filled.

Night Life

5

Our campus has a gym which has professional trainers so to help u if u r a beginner. A few cafes and food areas are present inside the campus and restuarants are present as well. Late night is not allowed as hostel gate closes at 9 pm but exceptions can be made for important purposes. Campus is as big as 4 villages joined together, so u don't really need to go outside and it is not allowed as well but we never get bored roaming in the campus.

I chose the BA LLB course for its blend of law and arts subjects, offering a comprehensive understanding of law, society, and governance. The interdisciplinary approach, with subjects like political science and history alongside core legal studies providing a strong foundation. Practical elements like moot courts and internships also prepare students for real worls legal challenges, making it a ideal course for law careers. Exam are based on semester system which includes mid-sem and end-sem which means exams are taken 4 times in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was my main focus being in the judiciary exam, and this college's curriculum can be quite very helpful for that. The curriculum prepares us for real World applications such as litigation through moot court competitions which are held regularly on different levels and they also offer information regarding moot courts being held in different Colleges where we can apply and participate. A few improvements can be done in the course curriculum by making it more student friendly and the teaching methodology should be introduced to students in a way which makes them comfortable and open to more knowledge in a friendly manner. The exams are held timely and their frequency stands to be frequent and the difficulty level for the same stands to be moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specifically the aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision was the legal knowledge and the awareness of one's legal rights. The curriculum prepares us for the journey of being a lawyer or an legal practitioner in a way that one can do very well in any field they choose. If i were to suggest the areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods that would be to hire better qualified teachers and compulsive 75% attendance for the students. The exams are held every six months along with mid semester exams in between and the difficulty level is not much if you are serious about your studies.
