BANASTHALI VIDYAPITH

In Banasthali there are many practical labs in which faculties make us learn and understand the real-world applications of what we study in our course. They give us different projects and also they halp us to compleete that project. And many more things beyond our syllabus we are taught by everyone in banasthali like ethics, responsibilities, duites, leadership, etc... . The faculties here do not provide good resource or we can say notes. They leave it on us to refer books and websites.. so ig this is the field they should improvise. Three exams held in every semester -- two periodicals and one semester exam-- Periodicals are not that tough while sems can be said to be tough.

Many companies come in our collge for internships and placements. Some of the most renowned companies like AMAZON, MICROSOFT, DELOITTE, WIPRO ,etc.... visit our college regularly. Different fields and branches get their own internship projects and based upon their skills they are provided with stipend. Most of the students get opportunity in big companies with good stipend. Some colleges give student placement opportunity also after their internships in their company.

In Banasthali getting internship is very easy .. we have lots of oppurtunities over her. I'm in first yr but still through suggestion from my faculties i got admission into launched which is providing me certificate in Web development course and also i am assigned with major project of creating a website where one can see animes and track their watching playlists. Campus selction of most of the students are confirmed here just nearly of 5-10 students could not make upto due to their lack of skills. Many renowned companies like AMAZON, MICROSOFT, AIRTEL, DELOITTE, etc.. visit our campus regularly. Highest package this yr reached upto 25 lpa while average package was 9-11 lpa. According to my knowledge in my branch 90% of seniors got placed with respectfull packages like 18, 16, 10 lpas and reemaining 7% seniors got median package of 7-9 lpa .

In first year total fees was 2,96,500 which included 154000 tuition fee, 60000 hostel fee security deposit of 20000 and other like developmental fee, exam fee course admission fee, hostel admission fee and imprest money sums up to 62,500. In second, third and fourth yr total fee is 259000 which comprises of educational fee 154000, development fee 41000, exam and other fee 4000 and hostel fee 60000. There are many scholarships available in vidyapith which helps us a lot.

There are many fests held in Banasthali. Most famous and national level fest is APAJI fest which is conducted in memory of founder of vidyapith. And for every field and branches we have different fests for eg, for technical fields like bca and enginnering we have Mayukh fest which is also a big fest, for ba students we have adhyay and other fests are also conducted for commerce and other field students. There is huge collection of all kinds of books and journals -- topics like history, geography, philosophy, languages including GERMAN, FRENCH AND SANASKRIT are present in THE CENTRAL LIBRARY. Also every department has its own library. There are many sports played here and there are different courts for every game ... girls here play, participate in tournaments and also win many trophies. Games like cricket, hockey, basketball, football, archery, swimming,volleyball, handball, Taekando and karate are also taught here, yoga and aerobics are also practiced.

I live in hostel which costs me 60000 every year it includes mess charges--21500, electricity and water--7500, room rent--10000 and campus fee of 22000. In hostel room, three girls stay in a room, all of three are provided with a separate bed, table, chair and cupboard and we all have one common mirror in room. Cupboards are not that big (there are some big cupboards in new hostels) but desks are quite enough sufficient to adjust your stationary things. Menu is although fixed for every day but very rarely it goes the same. Quality of food is healthy and hygenic but not tasty.. they make food with very less oil and spices keeping in mind health of students. Registartion is simple .. you are alloted hostel according to ypur field by university itself but you can shift in different hostels if you like.

I have applied for many colleges but one that i preferred was banasthali because we get confirmed campus selection here, complete security for girls, green environment which leads to healthy mind and many things of banasthali are far better than other govt colleges. I didn't get rejection from any colleges infact after cuet results my parents and my phone were full of official emails to get into their colleges. But on research we got to know that they are best colleges of india but they do not have either safe environment or better placements... so therefore i went for this college. The admission to Banasthali is very easy .. you just need to give seperate examination of banasthali and secure good marks so that you can opt for field and brach according to you, and also you should have above 75% in 12th boards.

Faculties here are well-qualified and most of them are PhD holders. As far as I've met teachers all of them has helped me a lot in projects and during examination also.I cannot reveal names of teachers but yeah .. most of the teachers you would meet here will be very kind and respective towards you. Here every sem we have 3 examinations conducted in gap of almost 1 month. Two exams are periodicals and one exam in semester examination. First semester starts from july and ends in decemeber and there is no leave after 1st sem exams just of 2-3 days and your next sem starts from december itself and ends in may. Difficulty level of periodicals is not that too hard it is toatlly based upon what ypur teachers taught you but Sems can be considered to be a little difficult.

I feel sorry to say that there are no latenight hangouts allowed in campus. Because we need to be in our hostel before 9 pm or our parents are made call by wardens. If there is any medical emergency then you need to take one warden along with you. And since you are not allowed to go out of campus so what we can do inside the campus moreover it seems little horrible to roam after 9 at roads since no-one is there just darkness, trees and you with some dogs. Yeah but there are ways you can entertain yourself during daytime by going into restaurents, canteens and near pool-side which is my bets place ... its is very peaceful out there and there are temples also. In banasthali there are two markets old market where school children live and new market where college aur higher students stay.. although we can go anywhere for marketing but it is very far nearly at a distance of 2 kms. Also there are two Restaurents in between of new and old market -- Mukteshwari and Spicy bite.
