The law department at the university is supported by highly qualified faculty who are approachable and provide effective assistance to students. The academic structure follows a semester system, with four exams held annually: two per semester. These include a Mid-Semester Exam worth 25 marks and an End-Semester Exam worth 50 marks. Assessments also include marks for attendance, assignments, and quizzes, with a pass requirement of 40 marks. Students' performance contributes to their cumulative GPA, and faculty help improve students' CGPA through assignments and practical exercises.

Placement eligibility begins after the fourth year, with opportunities available for students who achieve a 9 CGPA in their final year. The university offers internships at the high court and various commissions, enhancing students' legal understanding and communication skills. The BA.LLB (Hons) program's fees start at Rs. 85,000 per year, but increase annually, now reaching Rs. 90,000-95,000. SC/ST students benefit from a PMS scholarship, exempting them from fees, while students with a 90% score in their 12th-grade exams receive a scholarship covering 75% of their fees.
