DAV's Student Life

Likes

The teachers are generally quite frank and helpful.
The university organises a lot of tech events, which are great for students to stay in touch with the industrial trends.
There is Zero tolerance policy towards in kind of ragging or student harrassment.

Dislikes

The college is on highway, so after evening buses don't stop in case you are a day scholar.
If you are deciding to take hostel, then think about this : The mess food is not good at all for the high fee you are paying .
In a tier 3 city , the academic fee one pays is quite more .

Placement Experience:

The college offers placements generally in the field of Web development, Web Designing, UI/UX . The companies are from Tier 1 cities like Chandigarh, Gurgaon which means to have a great start in a well established company.

DAV University: A Hub of learning, Innovation and Growth

Likes

The faculty members are very good of DAV UNIVERSITY
The Canteen is good and the food is also good
They provide ac classes to us and good environment

Dislikes

The campus of this university is small..
Some classes of this university is short
The some buildings are under construction

DAV University collaborate with companies like TCS , Infosys, Wipro, HCL and Intel Unnati for internship. Roles include software development,AI/ML ,data analytics and web development with stipends based on company policies. Students work on real world projects such as AI-bases applications,database management systems and automation tools . These internships enhance technical skills, problem solving abilities and industry exposure improving job prospects.

Likes

The infrastructure of the university very nice including the staff is very humble.
Canteen provide clean food with full awareness of not providing bad or old quality food
Library is big in size . 2 rooms are given to library which is a good thing

Dislikes

On places focus on tidenes is not there which seems embracing

Internships Opportunities:

Practice of Internships in dav university are given. Groups are made to make you prepare for intership. In these groups activities are provided to you each activity make a mark and repotation to you in university

I like the library of my university because there are thousands of books to read.
I like the student center of my university
I like the auditorium of my university its huge

Teacher are so professional and they have plenty of knowledge
This university also provide moot court session for law students
Every week has events and many of the celebrities came for the movie promotions

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike , everything is excellent

Our university provide internships in high court , human right commissions, public right commission, which helps the students to get know more about the law . It provides perfect knowledge and also improve the communication skills of the student and high the confidence level

Dav University Jalandhar and my experience in it!

Likes

Infrastructure is really nice according to fees
Some classes have Air conditioners in them.
The faculty is really good according to me

Dislikes

Though classes have ACs but they don't work sometimes

Internships Opportunities:

As I'm a first year student, I don't know much about the companies that visit here . I asked my seniors, they are offered internships but are not paid for it so there are unpaid internships. We are given choice of choosing the city in which we want to intern in.

Boost yourself with DAV college

Likes

Faculty and staff is really helpful and understanding. They try their best to help every student and make them comfortable
Environment and discipline is top notch. Campus is neat and clean and open
Competition and events happen on daily basis.

Dislikes

Canteen has no chairs to sit. Only standing tables are there that too unbalanced
It's too hot in summer in classes. Very difficult for students to study and teachers to teach.

Internships Opportunities:

Many local and national companies offer internship programs with high stipends amd training before hand afterwards they themselves provide job to deserving candidates with package of minimum 250000. Hdfc bank, icici, sbi, powerhouse companies etc.

My overall experience in dav University

Likes

I mostly liked the infrastructure of my university.
The education system is very good, all the teachers here are experienced.
Many events keep happening from time to time.

Dislikes

Here the same childish feelings come which never seem to happen
There is a lot of pressure regarding fees during exam time.

Placement Experience:

These placements are provided to the students on good packages but last year a student got placement of Rs 35 lakh per annum in the company, I liked this thing very much, I also want to take placement from here ,

Likes

The atmosphere around the university and teaching skills
My class fellow nature were too good and helpful

Dislikes

A little bit view on the cleaniness side
And the rates of eatable item should be minimize

I didn't receive any placement because I'm not eligible for that as I just complete my 1st year in graduation but I love to work in future with good placement when I get my placement I must write about it for sure
