The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

College ki Baatein

Likes

University has a good campus and it is very well maintained
University provides you the opportunity rather than only focussing on studies but also in other field
Good opportunities provided by the college for placement and preparation perspective

Dislikes

Very strict about the fee installment if you late then they will charge late fee
Faculties are not that good only few faculty are good
Not so good freshers party the guest are not that good

Course Curriculum Overview:

So in BE computer science and engineering you will get to study of c and c++ in your first year which is basic language to work on. You will get the labs of each classes to do practical as well and then your lab mst will be taken. The need for improvement is some teachers are failed to deliver the lecture which causes students dissatisfaction in learning new things Mst are off 1 hour and consists of 20 marks while finals are of 60 marks which have 3 hours of time. For your lab practical you will get 1:30 hours and off 15 and 40 marks. Paper's are off moderate level

Chandigarh University Best or worst?

Likes

The friendly nature of the students despite of their different cultural background.
The helpfull faculty and supportiveness of teachers.
Opportunities given by the college for the extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The long time taking process of any work to be done by the faculty.
The discrimition faced by students from faculty.
Rigid things that can't be changed evenn after several complaints.

Placement Experience:

Psychology bachelor's can get placements from semester 5-6 but if you are choosing clinical as major than you have to do masters after bachelor to get the license [that too from an RCI certified college]. There are multiple fields and the package goes accordingly.Mostly students choose to do masters for better future and to bacome a therapist.I will also opt for masters after the degree.

My College Life in the CU

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good and the educational environment is also very much positive.
Faculties are well educated and doing their job or role very well
Placement is also good in our batch. Average package is about 6.5 LPA

Dislikes

Faculties are not that much cooperatives.
Infrastructure is good but work environment needs improvement
Work ethics needs to be improved and focus should be also on student's life

The placement in chandigarh University is average because some year the ratio of placement are high and some years it is low so i have heard that in past the highest salary goes to 25 LPA. So the overall the placements are good in Chandigarh University.

Chandigarh University as a whole

Likes

The library is the best part of the whole college
The labs are well equipped usually to the topic they are teaching
The festivals inside the college are wonderful

Dislikes

The girls and boys ratio is pretty bad considering the number of students
The hostels are stricter than required and in same cases harsh.
College proves old or narrow minded like not letting girls sit or dance with boys in festivals whereas in modelling promotes the same

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum overall is pretty badly designed atleast in my category. The courses seem repitative. For example python machine learning was taught to us in first sem and now in forth sem they have started with basics of python altogether again. The curriculum could be designed alot better and be more practical rather than theoretical. The assignments could easily be printed and not hand written along with practical files.

Life in CU

Likes

Co-curricular activities the university provides
Training and placement cell, department of career planning
Sports complex including gym facility and training

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by the college for other courses such as cse are much higher than law as this college is known for engineering rather than law. But the packages offered for law students are also good as compared to other private universities. The companies for placement drives increase every year so it's a win.

Architecture of cu is very good they have World class level of architecture
Water management system to be honest after rain only few minutes it take that all the water block in the ground went inside the water tunnel
Size the size of this university is soo big and there so many places to go so u don't get that bore

Dislikes

Food in hostel is very bad i really don't like it some time they make tasty but some most of the time it's suck
75% attendance it's most irritating thing and the more irritating is that in very month test or lab mast u need more then 75 so i mean u can only leave few class but u can't leave some classes which only come one time in week
Subject there is too many waste of time subject which have so sense also we need 75% attendance on them

The placement condition right now is not good company came and give offer latter but after some time the take back there offer latter so placement condition right now is not good because but I know some sinior who gets 12+ lac placement throw here but ya thet put lot of efforts and build there network.. i think after 3year or end of 7 semester u can sit in placement round

My College is good as bad

Admission Criteria for getting admission in this University is just 50%.So if you have passed your boards anyhow and not able to get any seats in engineering colleges then relax….. CU is there for you. Isn't that a cool fact now a days getting any
Teachers are just like in every other college. A lot of them are very friendly and young,
There are opportunities, but there’s also a lot of crowd. If you’re good enough, you’ll grab those opportunities before others.

Dislikes

Assignment gonna be worst nightmare for you. They will give tons and tons of assignment.And also they have a unique way of teaching,they provide ppts. You won't find a book from a single students.
Hostels are quite good but the messfood is way more bad than u could imagine.
Here u will only get to know how to pass in exams…trust me no such real knowledge are being provided.

Placement Experience:

Regarding placements they claim CU have 100% placements records but the truth is only some service based companies like Tcs,Wipro who doesn't give anything beyond 20 to 25k per month. They conduct joint placement drive in which 4–5 other universities also sit in the placements season. And 31 lakh placement from Amazon Was also by a student from cgc which CU claims to be as their student.

The College Life of an Undergraduate.

Likes

Firstly, the infrastructure of the college is really very good
Secondly, the campus is very good with well maintained gardens.
and also when it comes to labs they are well maintained.

Dislikes

Firstly, if we come to hostel in the campus they are not that good. Providing only 4 seater bedrooms for girls.
No A/C service for girls in hostels only cooler is provided
The mess food is not upto the mark, and needs to work upon hygiene.

The students are eligible for placements from 5th or 6th semester when it comes to my course. Package is between 6LPA TO 8LPA. My plans include doing Masters in biotech or masters in genetics after this 3 year program

This University one of the best private University
Here campus life is also good amazing look enjoy tech fest fresher party and many more
The facility is also attractive.here is very good facility members and students friendly

Dislikes

I don't like mess food and 75 persent attendence
Here in this University best infra structure.
The campus size of this University is 50 to 60 acre

Placement Experience:

* 6 to 7 semester you are eligible to campus placement drive. *Name of company to visit our college is accenture,tcs, infosys, Capgemini, amazon etc *The highest package of this University is 54 lpa and the average package 8 to 9 lpa. *In this University 70 to 80 persent students getting placed. * My plan after getting the degree is doing job in software company.

Good if you can figure things out for yourself otherwise no.

I liked that the teachers were well reachable.
There were mock interviews conducted in later years to provide experience
The campus quality is beautiful and big, along of greenery.

Dislikes

To keep a 100% placement record they pushed students into several startups which just let them partially unemployed.
Discipline and decorum was horrible because the college is very much full of people who have nothing to do with their careers.
The management doesn't listen much to the students unless they reach up through unfair means.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 3rd year. Couple of complainies from different tiers like HCL, infosys, oracle etc. Along with several startups (not recommended) came for placements with the established companies offering anywhere from 1-20 seats and much more for the rest. The highest package i saw someone from my class receiving was 22 lac per annum while average package was close to 5 lac.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
