- The Infrastructure of CU is good. The building and overall it's fine.
Dislikes
- Attendance system that you have to maintain 75%
- Sometimes gates close before 9:30 and because of that if we need the attendance then it slips from our hands
- The Guards of University are rude sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum at CU is well-designed and aligns with current industry standards. It offers a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Subjects are updated regularly, which helps us stay relevant.
Internships Opportunities
My college offers good internship opportunities, both paid and unpaid. Some of the companies that have provided internships include TCS iON, Internshala, Byju's, and startups like Innostax and Frantic.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Top companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Capgemini visit the campus. The highest package offered was around 10 LPA and the average is 3-4 LPA. Around 70% of students get placed depending on the course and skill set. Most roles offered are in IT, software development, and business operations. After completing my degree, I plan to work for 1–2 years to gain experience and then pursue an MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee Structure is Simple, You Have to Pay 1 lakh 45 thousand for one semester and 2500 for examination fee. The University also provide scholarship opportunities where students can get upto 100% scholarship means students have to pay nothing and will study. Also Students Can get upto 80% scholarship, 50% scholarship and 40% and 20% also.
Campus Life
Annual cultural fests like TechXplore in March and Festiva in November are major highlights. The library is well-stocked with books and journals, easily accessible to all students. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi, making learning interactive. There are several clubs like coding, photography, and drama that keep students involved beyond academics.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are well-maintained and come with basic furniture like beds, study tables, cupboards, and fans. Some rooms even have coolers. The registration process is smooth and mostly done online. The hostel is quite affordable compared to PGs around. The mess food is decent with a fixed weekly menu. While not restaurant quality, it’s hygienic and provides good variety—like rice, roti, dal, vegetables, and sometimes sweets. Security is strict, and the warden is supportive. The hostel is located in a peaceful area with shops and medical facilities nearby, making it convenient for students.
Admission
I chose CU over other colleges like LPU and Amity because of its better infrastructure. The admission process was smooth and entirely online. I got admission based on my 12th-grade marks. The process was hassle-free and well-guided by the support team.
Faculty
Faculty I say not that much good. Course structure is like it's not bad but not good too. The teacher just come and starts teaching from PPT and sometimes it feels like can they even answer if anyone from class ask them question which is not related to the topic. I don't like anyone nor I'm interested to know any faculty Name. I actually also don't know any faculty Name. Exams are Good and easy even if you study one day Before exam you'll get 10+ marks out of 20. Final are also easy
Interview Experience
I had to appear for a written test followed by a personal interview during the admission process. The written test included basic aptitude, logical reasoning, and subject-specific questions.
Night Life
The nightlife around the college is quite happening. Cafeterias stay open till around 10 PM and are popular for group hangouts. The gym usually closes by 9 PM, and the library shuts around 8 PM. Hostels have an in-time of 10:30 PM, which gives enough freedom to explore nearby spots. Popular hangouts like XYZ Café and ABC Street Food Corner are student favorites. The locality is generally safe, with decent lighting and regular patrolling. Many students prefer chilling in hostel common rooms or going for late-night walks around campus. These moments really help students unwind and bond.
