- Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
- Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
- There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.
Dislikes
- Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
- At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
- I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

- It was the most suitable place in India to study the course I chose(Msc Marine Biology). Faculties were experienced and understanding.
- Hostel was less than 100 mts away from campus. And had all the necessary lab equipments enough for the students.
- Campus Life was one of a kind. As there were only few students overall, everyone knew eachother let that be phd student 2nd year, 1 st year, everyone knew each other. Never had such a college experience before.
Dislikes
- Remote location. You have spend money on flights each time you have to take vacation.
- Faculties were sometimes felt biased. The evaluation of the papers are done in the same campus itself, so sometimes this bias was seen in marksheets.
- Only few students in the overall campus. Not much culture or community activities it's mostly quiet all the time.

Because it was rare. Not many colleges offer this course.
So the certificate has its value. Curriculum doesn't necessarily prepares you for real world applications, but you have to opportunities to develop skills. You can work with phd scholars , they are all very friendly and let's you work with them and learn. The curriculum could be improved by introducing more about fisheries, currently the syllabus focus on oceanography, biochemistry and other laws or policies.

- Campus life is really really great and beautiful, very much enjoyable, and campus is full of greenery and special mention of great night life in campus.
- Hostel facilities are really good, safe and cleaned properly.
- Really good transport system inside the campus, and special mention for library and reading room also the campus connect internet facility.
Dislikes
- Teachers are not that good in subjects, and they are not helpful at all.
- Professor are not equipped with proper knowledge and having behavior issues.
- Too much hot environment during summer time.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course and subject wise it is really good, developing in India. There are enough scopes and opportunities worldwide too. The curriculum exposed you to research work and develop your thinking process.

- Quality of education and facualty are high qualified and knowlwdgeable with many holding ph.d in thier respective fields
- the university has diverse student community for different states ,leading to rich cultural exchange
- The placement cell invites good companies, especially for computer science students. However placements are for software and testing roles
Dislikes
- There is less direct interaction with the industry
- the hostels are decent but sometimes maintain issues are raised
- placements for other departments is not as strong
Placement Experience:
at pondicherry university ,students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semister.companies like tcs,infosys,wipro, visit campus offer jobs in software development and testing.the highest packagge is around 4-6lpa.70-80 percdnt students get placed.after completing my degree i plan secure a good job in it.

- There will be some dislikes anywhere we r going in ..
- Mess food ..as some of them cannot habituated to it ..

The demand in food market in these days were too high,that made me to choose this course and here in my department were training so well, the way our department teaches was so good and made us to know each and every thing accordingly the situations in the food markets

- The freedom the college gives you in attending classes .Though attendance is mandatory the classes timing is scheduled in such a way that the students will not face any issue in attending those classes.
- The way the staffs and students interaction is made easy and comfortable. If u have any doubts regarding any aspect of the course u can feel free to ask the staffs any time amd they are ready to help anytime
- Placement oppurtunities and other international conference oppurtunities offered that enhances our exposure.
Dislikes
- Keeping classes even during rain holidays , since it is a central university, when they declare holiday for local schools and colleges the leave dont apply to this university and unless it is uploaded in the website.
- The vast campus needs at least 10 buses to accommodate the transport necessities of the students but there are only 2 to 3 busses in functioning
- The roads in the university are pretty damaged

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it will help the student in clearing further higher level competitive exams and thus the oppurtunities of settling in a good institute after the completion of the course is highly positive and the knowledge that the course curriculum offers is good
