Likes

Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Life in Pondicherry University as a PG Student

Likes

Faculty are so friendly and knowledgeable
Vast campus with good infrastructure and lushy green trees
Library with ample amount of books and good infrastructure

Dislikes

Campus is so big and we have to walk longer if we have to go somewhere
Connectivity to railway stations and bus stands are difficult
Buses inside campus won’t be available during non working days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't have any particular reason to choose this course since I took BTech food technology in my UG I want to pursue something which is related to nutrition. So when I did research online regarding the institutions that were available in India, which has good ranking, I came to know about Pondicherry University and I choose this.

The campus infrastructure, one of the most beautifull universities
Diversity among students where from different parts of India
the faculty is friendly and lot of exposure

Dislikes

not very advance equipments, since the course needed practical experirnce
since it was time of corona everything was online, there wasnt hands on experience
no timely feedback from the professors since they were also facing issues of network

Since, it was covid time it was more of online learning and curriculum was very vast for 4 semesters while, it was very nice way of learning things and also we needed to opt other subject so that to have knowledge about the other courses

Expectations and reality of MVIT

Likes

Quality of labs and classroom are better and well equipped
Staff are more friendly to us according to my department
Not a strict college and it have liberal rules and regulations

Dislikes

Events and culturals are rarely conduct and my college don’t encourage extra curriculum

Pleasant and neat

Likes

Great atmosphere for learning and just visiting, you can litsit anywhere and study, walk all over the campus if just need a walk
Nice approachable faculties, very friendly and kind, some are even great popular ones
Good teaching methods, lot of them are very good but sometimes you gotta learn more by yourselves

Dislikes

Slighty struct management but i also fond it necessary given the degree
No students parking inside the parking, new rule implimented this year onwards
Slightly hectic schedule makes it hard for coping up

They also added aetcom to the syllabus and dedicated classes which is very useful, clinical postings from 2nd year itself so you won't be clueless in the final year, you'll have some exposure, and mostly have internal assessments every monday from different subjects, might have one free weekend.

The teaching is nice and it is excellent
The infrasctructure is nice and there is library facility
Moreover there is hostel facility with canteen

Dislikes

The mess food is little worse but will get used to it

The course is simple and the design of course is nice.. the mark system is slight unacceptable because the marks for the record submission is too low only 2.5 marks for that. U have to write whole night long..

Friendly nature of staffs and also students with diff States
Programs and fest that are continuously with interaction with other states culture

Full freedom and twenty four hours gate was opened
No placements for our department they only gave guidence
Departments are far away from our hostel and we have to walk to much

I liked my departments faculty so much they are so friendly and have great knowledge about the subject as we as about current things happening in the society.ngs
The university organises various education related seminars , presentation that actually helped us so much to gain knowledge.
One of the main thing I like about the university is the programmes it organises various programmes for Pongal , onam and various events will take place.

Dislikes

The campus connect wifi in university is very poor , the network will be down.
The bus facilities in the university is also bad you won't get buses frequently.
The condition of the health center is also poor , no timely treatment is given for injured students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After seeing the curriculum I was satisfied to take this course and it is related to my interest and the subject. It prepares us for real world applications as Sociology is about the society and real world. Improvement can be made in the teaching method to have more fied related works and the I am also satisfied with the frequency of exams also .

I like the campus as its really nice to walk around and interact with people
The university has like many clubs that you can join in like for example read club

Dislikes

Improvement would be if there are dustbins around the campus as there are only few considering how big the campus is
The quality of the infrastructure can be better the class ac is not working sometimes
Hostel washroom shower leaking and taking so much time to fix that as water is wasting

Placement Experience:

Campus placement students are eligible from 3rd sem. I think the highest package is 30000 monthly. We have all applied for placement but haven't gotten back from the companies so we are all waiting for that.

Best college in my area

Likes

Teaching is very very best in my college.
The college provide library facilities for all department.
They provide more preference to sports also.

Dislikes

There is no proper cantine facilities in my college
No placement in my college, this disappointed me

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have to choose this college for best in bcom. The exam time is 3 hours. Teaching method is good for me. They provide extra preference for bcom students. The selected staff also improve their teaching method I think.

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
