Course Description
Student those who are selected through JEE/OJEE/Univ. entrance examination for taking admission into various courses of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla are required to register online through the link available in the official website of VSSUT
- Visit the website of the Institute, http://www.vssut.ac.in/
- Register yourself through phone number and email id.
- After successfully online registration, students will be facilitated to download/print his/her online application.
- An auto generated application code will be generated for further references.
- The interested candidates may download the application form available in the University Website and submit a hard copy of the signed completed application alongwith non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in favour of,
VSSUT, Burla payable at SBI, Burla (Code - 2034) or Syndicate Bank (Code - 8062) and send the same by Speed Post only so as to reach the Dean, PGS & R, VSSUT, Burla before the last date of submission
- The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “Application for Programme” along with the name of the Department (Specialization) as applicable.
Course Details
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) offers a Bachelor’s degree in Technology under 11 different specialization subjects with a duration of 4 years. The university also offers 5 years Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech course under two different specializations.
Admission to B.Tech. courses of the University are based on the merit in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Govt. of Odisha. The application process for Odisha JEE starts in the month of March every year. Candidates can apply online application for Odisha JEE.

- Environment of the college where it is situated is very good and provides peace to the mind. There are also many places around the college where anyone can go and have a small weekend trip.
- The teachers of the department are very helpful and the support in every condition. They encourage the students in every aspect and help them to learn new things.
Dislikes
- The heat during the summer is quiet high as temperature rises above 38 degrees.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum prepares us for solving the real world problems. It helps to deal with many problems of the industry and gives us the knowledge we require for facing the outer world. There are also many non- engineering subjects taught which are very valid in the outer world, like economics, ethics, fanacial management and many more. The frequency of the exam is every 3 months and the difficulty level is moderate to high depending upon the course and subject offered.

- College is very big with a lush green campus.
- There are many clubs for the enhancement of skills .
Dislikes
- Distance between the hostel and the campus.
- Restrictions are many for the first year student.

Course curriculum is very relevant.Course is designed by the Vssut only and is then transferred to various government engineering colleges of odisha.Syllabus is of moderate level,and exams are held on a duration of 1.5 months to 2 months.

- The college fees is quite affordable and it is very cheap

- Our seniors are not yet friendly as they are very strict
- Our college is very strict about the rules and regulations

The course the course duration is around 4 years and it is very cost efficient as my college fees around 48000 per year I think the teachers need to improve in the areas such as this crawl the PPT slides and we worry near the exams what to study

I would rate high for the course curriculum because the college gives best opportunities to the students through the clubs.placement is also good . Reknowned College of odisha.the areas that are need to be improve are the senior junior interaction . Teachers.etc. some exams are quite difficult and some are easier than you think .

As I have enrolled for btech degree , the course is vast yet simple for those who are determined to achieve something in their lives . I had had always a keen interest in becoming a software developer and to try out on things related to coding and problem solving . This provides us with all the necessary informations and prepared us to face the society with full confidence and courage. A student opting for the same is mentally strong because it's not an easy to go course to Cary on with but not that tricky too . The teaching methods are best suited with highly qualified professors and teaching faculty is yet easy to reach out and ask the doubts for the same.

It's not the most popular course yet the placements are good. Approximately, faculty members are around 12. The total number of students each year is 60. I don't know the details. It's not very difficult to pass.

Odisha is a mineral-rich state and the course I applied to will help me in pursuing a career in it. The faculty here is well-educated and for every branch, there is a minimum of 10+ faculty members including other staff. The exams are conducting in every six months (1 semester).

I chose METALLURGICAL AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING because I want to study metals and the faculty students ratio is about 1:10 ratio. Basically, most of our faculty are having PhD.degree. Exam conducted smoothly in our college.

I had chosen this course because of my interest in those fields. The faculties were excellent. All the faculties were extremely brilliant in clearing doubts. The sem exams were very tough but if u study hard then it would be a little bit easy.
