SPPU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I Was interested in chemistry right from class 11th. I also had a keen interest in becoming a professor in Chemistry.so I decided to pursue a Graduation from Fergusson College with BSc-Chemistry. The chemistry faculty was overall 14 teachers which comprised 11 male teachers and 3 female teachers. The student-teacher ratio was 1:9 All the teachers were highly qualified and Doctorate holders and were very good at teaching theory as well as practicals. In the curriculum, Continuous assessment was carried out through tests, Group discussions, Presentations, Seminars, etc which helped in enhancing our confidence. Monthly tests were conducted as it was a part of continuous assessments. The passing was not that difficult as it was an autonomous institute and the paper was framed upon the things that teacher had taught us. so exams were not that tough.

Students in their final semester are eligible for placements. NCL visited the campus. I have no idea about the most expensive package. About half of the percentage got placed. After graduating, I went for my bachelor of education studies.

This is truly one of the best colleges you can get in Pune! I am pursuing BSc.ComputerScience since FY. The college administration and teachers are one of the best you could ever have or expect! They are always there to help all students! The college principal is very humble, kind, supportive, and understanding! Great college, with ample opportunities for any student to get the best career for him/her! The college also provides career guidance cell and career placements in the top best well-known companies! This is more than what a student could expect from his or her investment in studies! I am thankful to all my teachers and the college admin office... For all the help, support, encouragement, and guidance they have provided me. I feel blessed and lucky to have got admission to Christ College Pune. Thank you

Placements are overall good but mostly above average top 5% students get placements and to get placements from college you have to attend every single semester During my graduation companies like Serum industry are hire the candidates My plan was enter in desired industry and grow there

Our college has an average package of 2.8LPA, the highest is 5LPA. Students after the 5th sem are eligible for placements. Companies such as IBM, Accenture, ADP, CNC Solutions Pvt LTD, UbSoft, TCS, etc visit every year for hiring students. Almost 80-90% Students get placed every year.

Curriculum review is a critical examination of academic programs for the purpose of optimising students learning experience led by collaboration by academic staff who teach within the program very good and friendly teachers

The course is very good and it has a wide scope The course is not hard The qualifications of faculty and teaching are normal and the teaching style is nice Term exams are not difficult to pass it is easy

This course I chose for the chemistry field which I am interested in. There are average+ no. Of students for this criteria. Teaching methods are the best, explaining through projectors and also making it easy to understand.

College is very good at the education system. I took BCS as I got good marks on the HSC board in the science stream as well as I have an interest in computers and phones. Teachers are good. And exams are taken from time to time and strictly.

Terminal exams are strictly taken on time including internals, and external and end semester exams. It also includes a CE of 50 marks Passing them is not very difficult you just need to know the basics and it's enough to pass the exams
