The looks of the college is very beautiful
Some of the teacher's are very kind and helpful
Extracurricular activities is organized heavily

Dislikes

Some of the teachers are very rude and bad
Mess food is not that good for proper diet
Foreign students living in hostel are treated badly

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum in the first year i cant get the proper idea why these course has been introduced. From the second year core subjects are introduced to everyone and then the real course curriculum starts. There are 3 exams in a semester and the timings are also proper.

Likes

The looks of the college and around the college is very beautiful
Most of the teachers are very helpful and kind.
Security is very tight and there is not any issue regarding it

Dislikes

Some of the teachers are not understandable and rude
Classrooms are not filled with AC and fans does not provide much air
Some of the classrooms are very suffocating

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is first year is not much availing towards your future. The core subjects are introduced in the second year so it would be more proper for the future proposes. Exams are average and timings are also proper

Likes

Magnificent infrastructure with quality service
sports complex having basket ball cort, volleyball cort, footsal cort, batminton cort, indoor games section, gym, etc
course structure and professionalism of faculty

Dislikes

expensive but not much dislike about this college
ya sometimes the managements is not at trhe peak but it happens
so no other dislikes about this college though

Placement Experience:

the place is good as of now 8 companies visited the campus and till now 50 students already have a joining letter in their hand including me. companies l;ike, TCS, Infofif, persistent, tech mahindra, fendhal, Acsencher, etc

Brief Experience in SIT Pune

Likes

One of the best aspects of this college is that in veery class of every batch, there is a faculty who is appointed as mentor for every 20 students. It's their job to ensure the students attendance, academic performance, and to solve any issues faced.
There are continuous assessments for students which makes them brush up their syllabus frequently while the examinations held are under strict vigilance. The professors also assign mini projects which might be individual or team led .
There are numerous technical and non-technical clubs via which if a student is attentive and productive might land up on an early internships and many other kinds of lucrative opportunities. There are also events such as debates, hackathons and fests

Dislikes

The hostels although safe might sometimes be overwhelming due to some unnecessary rules and regulations. The guards although friendly and supportive, this might not be the same in case of some of the wardens or employees of campus admin office.
There are some regulations in campus which might seem less sensible such as not allowing more than 3 people in a room ( not even from the same hostel) .
There were some instances where the hygiene of the mess could be called questionable. This was rare but there were such cases.

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements from their 3rd year or the 5th semester. A number of companies usually visit us during placements such as PhonePe, Amazon, IBM, Mahindra, TATA, Dassault, Nvidia and may more. The highest package which I observed was 48LPA 2 years back and the average package is about 9 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements is about 100% IN CSE, 94% in AI&ML, 98% in E&TC. After graduation I plan on getting work experience for a couple years and then go for an MBA degree from a reputed university.

My first year experience in Symbiosis institute of technology.

Likes

Inside of the symbiosis international university campus the total surface area is huge ample amount of space
Since the campus is so huge there are endless things to do besides academics as it is a ll provided within the campus
As for academics the classrooms are quite big and comfortable, the staff is quite helping in nature and the lecturers are thorough

Dislikes

The college is on a little bit of the relaxed side they arent as strict and there are alot of workarounds in things that shouldnt be worked around on.
However attendance is quite steict and stidents have to comply otherwiae just for minute loss in attendance we may potentially get a back
The building is quite confusing to walk around in at times as you font understand where what is.

Placement Experience:

There are placemebts given by the college which is done after 4th year of college aka 8th semester. There are endless top tier companies that visit sit from L&T to microsoft. Average package is around 750000 and highest was i believe 5300000 per year. The college also provides international higher studies which is likely my plan after college. Around 70% students are placed.

Review for SIT PUNE

Likes

The things which i liked is location of campus.the sports facilities are also nice and class strenght is around 80 which is also good.
Hoatel facilities are okay and mess food is also okay.sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s not that good.
The boys to girl ratio is very good almost around 10:6. The crowd of the college is good. You also see a lot of diversity here. Campus is quite peaceful.

Dislikes

Mess food can be sometimes very bad . Transportation facility are also not that good .
Gym is small as compared to strenght of people. The canteen here is also not that good
The college curriculum is also old fashioned and a lot of illogical assignments are handed over to children.

Placement Experience:

Students can get internship from 3 rd year on their own while from 4 th year college trys to provide you with scholarship. Many big companies come to college such as microsoft and google. Also the palcement of civil is also good. Highest placement ratio is of course for cse students.this year around 80% of studenst from 4 th year got placed .

Likes

The location and campus of the college is very good.
The infrastructure of the college is good
The security,faculty,labs etc. is also good

Dislikes

The mess food is good but not many options for non veg for only 2 times a week.
The classrooms are good but they can be made modern.
The fees are very high both tution and hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curricullum is average like it does include hands on learning ,interdisciplinary approch but the main issue is that it does not give a lot of practical approach and also not much events and hackathons are conducted.

the campus is very beautiful and big in size
the crowd of children here is very nice with many international students .
faculties are very qualified and most of them are phd holders

Dislikes

students dont get hostels after first year
75 percent attendance is strictly complsury.
holidays are very less given as compare to other colleges

Placement Experience:

the placements here are quiet better than many private colleges avg package is about 9.45 lpa and median about 8.5 lpa with about 85 to 90 percent placement. highest domestic package was 50lpa and international was 40lpa for 23 24 batch.

Likes

Beautiful campus and fresh air . Its on a mountain so it has good view.
Good crowd . Most of the students come form good descent families
Good exposure to industries and and industry oriented programs

Dislikes

Seventy five percent attendance is mandatory.
The village is pretty bad to live in and crowd is not great
The roads to college are bad causing an inconvenience

The course curriculum is very good . It is industry oriented and very on point. We learn everything that is important. Practical knowledge is also provided for real world senarios . Projects are the main focus of the curriculum

Very honest review

Likes

Infrastructure: college infrastructure is huge and well polished
Faculty: all teachers are supportive and hold Ph.D in their respective subjects
Seniors: seniors are genuienly supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

There is nothing that i dont like about my college
Someone can find problem in canteen of college
Hostel facility is very limited although college provide hostels outside campus and near the campus

I already had intrest in doing Btech so i chose this course.this college is one of the best college in nagpur.as i wanted to stay in nagpur i chose this college without hesitation and without any doubt.
