SNDT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Our college provides good career opportunities for excellence. The lush green campus help in the all-round development of students. The legacy of Maharshi Karve is the biggest reason why we should put trust in this University. Our college is one of the best Women's University.

The courses which I was personally interested were present in this institute. Also the faculty here is good and cooperative. The infrastructure is also quite good, including the labs. Even though being amidst the city boundaries, it is in an isolated environment, as the college is surrounded by trees.

The campus is beautiful and secondly the ambiance of the collg is good. Fees is not so high. Hostel accommodation is also there. Provides IT Amazing Labs and Faculty. Sports facilities are also there. Huge campus.

The best thing of this college is they focus on all round development of a student. They make sure that a student should perform well not just in academics but also in various fields of their choice(arts, sports etc). They provide excellent opportunities for the students who take interest and work hard to achieve their goal.

The University has a beautiful campus with a hostel and playgrounds too. One can get a wonderful faculty here who are always available to help. There are many co-curricular activities here. One can get good placement opportunities here too.

I was allotted UMIT in the very first slot of CAP rounds. I filled very few colleges from Mumbai and UMIT was in top 6. It is the only girls Engineering college in Mumbai and comes under SNDT university. I read the reviews of the college students and i contacted few passout and senior year students. The reviews were very good. Teaching faculty, Academics were very well planned. So I decided not to wait for next CAP round and I froze my seat in UMIT. I think it was good decision. The teaching staff here is very supportive and always willing to guide students. Principal of the college, Mr. Pawar sir, is also supportive. The most important thing I liked about college is the academic curriculum. It ensures overall development of a student in particular branch. The college is in one of the main location of Mumbai i.e Juhu. It is cherry on cake for the college.

Firstly it's in my locality, although it's a full women's university (college) it has a very high placement rate as compared to other colleges ; the faculties are well updated and highly cooperative ; no ragging issues at all ;very nice alumni network; if one is regular in the lectures and labs there's no need to worry about exams or tests at all, cause the system is very flexible.

A number of reasons made me choose this college. 1)This college is a reputed one. 2) Travelling to college is easy (moderately close to the station). 3) Active councils which conduct activities all year round(technical as well as non technical). 4)Has a library having fair amount of books. 5) Has a huge campus with a lot of greenery which can make you feel calm. (I personally like to study at calm places. P. S. There is a beach nearby which make you feel calm too) 6) Has a canteen and a stationary, photocopy shop on campus also has one stationary and one photocopy shop right outside the campus. 7)Is an all girls college.

It's a well known University for women's education. Portion is well updated according to evolution in technology. UMIT provides over-all growth of student and prepare them to be a part of coperate world.

Overall it is a good college. Some of the admin staff is rude at times, which is acceptable as some people bug them unecessarily.
