Remarks

The best thing of this college is they focus on all round development of a student. They make sure that a student should perform well not just in academics but also in various fields of their choice(arts, sports etc). They provide excellent opportunities for the students who take interest and work hard to achieve their goal.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is updated accordingly giving much importance to the topics which have more demand in the industry today. Faculties have one to one interaction with students to understand their problems and give them personal attention in every aspect.

A lot of opportunities are there for students who really work hard throughout the 4 years. Cape Gemini, Oracle, Colgate, ericson, Accenture are some of the companies who hire students from our college.

College Events

Campus life is the best. We have a green lush campus in juhu with the engineering college being the first building of the campus. A lot of extracurricular activities are going on throughout the year with great enthusiasm. The biggest fest arranged by student council is worth attending.

Campus Life

Infrasturctre of college building is average. We have well equipped labs. Library is also well maintained. For sports we have a basketball ground in our campus. And ample of opportunities for other sports like volleyball,badminton, kho-kho.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
