SNDT Faculty

The faculty at the college is described as competent and qualified, with many holding advanced degrees such as PhD and LLM. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20, providing a favorable learning environment. The college offers a structured schedule with 5-7 lectures per day during graduation and 3-5 during post-graduation. Exams are conducted in a semester pattern, with 2 main exams and 2 internal exams per semester. Each semester includes a 75-mark exam and a 25-mark internal exam, with a general perception that exams are straightforward and manageable.

Faculty members are accessible between 9 AM to 5:20 PM and are available for queries outside these hours. Faculty are described as supportive, approachable, and dedicated, often employing creative teaching methods and facilitating an interactive learning experience. The college hosts various departments, including mass media, health, sports, IT, humanity, law, engineering, commerce, and arts, with a total of 10-15 faculty members per department. The course structure includes unit tests, presentations, and assignments contributing to internal marks.

Despite a shortage of faculty in some areas, the quality of teaching remains high, with a focus on student support and engagement.
