Remarks

The University has a beautiful campus with a hostel and playgrounds too. One can get a wonderful faculty here who are always available to help. There are many co-curricular activities here. One can get good placement opportunities here too.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty here is amazing and very understanding. They are always ready to help students in every way they can. The Course curriculum focuses on both soft skills and hard skills so that a student develops completely.

The placement opportunities are good here. There are a lot of companies visiting here every year and most of the students getting placed too.

College Events

There are various technical events organised by various councils of the college. There is an Annual Cultural Fest organised by Student Council and is volunteered by many students of the college itself. The footfall of the annual fest is around 2500-3000.

Campus Life

One can find well equipped labs here. There is a wonderful library where one can easily find the book required. The University consists of playgrounds where students can indulge in the sports on their choice.Thus the University focuses on sports too.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
