Relevant Entrance Exam Exemption

Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE, or hold a research fellowship from Government agencies are exempted from the NMIMS Entrance Test. They must still appear for the Personal Interview. The NMIMS Entrance Test is conducted by the university itself at the Mumbai campus.

  • As you might already know, NPAT is the entrance exam conducted by NMIMS for admission into UG Course. NPAT paves the way for admissions into multiple courses and that's why the eligibility criteria are different for each program. The criteria are structured with different levels which you must clear to get to the selection procedure.

    It includes the following factors:

      • Age: The upper age limit fixed by the board is 25 years.
      • Educational Qualification: You should have qualified 10+2 from a recognized board or hold a diploma degree in International Baccalaureate (IB certificate or/and DP awarded are not eligible). You should have 50% marks or more in 12th and even if you're going to take your 12th exams, you can still apply for the entrance.
      • Nationality: You must be a citizen of India.
      • After the prerequisites, you need to apply for and qualify for the NPAT and attach the results with the application to choose your desired program.
      • You should remain alert for the official notification. Although the exams are held in the third week of June, the process begins early on. However now, it might get delayed to July as well.
