I like electrical from the beginning and the placement is also good in the electrical branch. all teachers are Ph.D. holders and very good at teaching, teachers are very supportive and there are a total of 8 semesters in 4-year b.tech course.

What’s new regarding IIT Indore placements 2023? IIT Indore phase 1 placement process 2023 started on i.e. Dec 1, 2022. Stay tuned to this page for upcoming latest updates. Earlier, the institute has successfully placed 94.5% of BTech and 57.4% of MTech students during the IIT Indore placement 2022. As per the media reports, the highest package (domestic and international) offered was INR 56 LPA and INR 73.90 LPA, respectively during IIT Indore placement in 2022. A total of 110 companies participated, including 30 first-time recruiters. Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning, IT, Data Science and Computer Science-Software roles were the major streams in which job roles were offered

Students can sit on campus after completing the 6th semester. IIT Indore has a dedicated placement cell with chosen students as placement coordinators and managers. Also, students can sit for internship drives from their 5th semester.

Companies are called for internships in the third year and placements too are provided for fourth-year, master's and PhD students. In Semester 7 BTech companies are called for placements in the college. Companies like Google, DeShaw, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Flipkart, Arcesium, etc. come to the college. The placement ratio is almost 100%. Different companies make different offers ranging from 10 to 20 each. The highest package is 1.5 crore while the average package is over 18 lakhs. Various positions are offered from Civial engineer, software engineer, etc Almost 98% of students get placed each year. I plan to take a job

I chose Electrical Engineering as it is really a very interesting domain to study in all aspects (tech/ research/ start-ups/ innovation etc). Moreover, the placement opportunities for BTech students are ample. A student can get an easy placement in the domains of Core Electronics and Software. The course curriculum is highly diverse and we get a lot of good things to study. Faculty-to-student ratio=> 1:11 Highly qualified Professors with diverse experience and research backgrounds. All the professors have a Ph.D. at minimum. After this, they did a post-doc and a lot of research to become proof at IIT. In fact, many professors themselves are alumni of IIT and IIS.

Placements are excellent in our college. Almost every student who opts for placement gets placed. Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Almost every tech giant comes to our college. The placement percentage is 100%.

The placement is very good around 18 lakhs per annum an average. Companies like GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, ORACLE, SAMSUNG, NEWZERA, etc hire good numbers of students. Those who are not placed also get jobs out of the campus for sure.

I chose Electrical Engineering at IIT INDORE because it is the second-best branch in IIT Indore and all the companies which are open to Computer Science Engineering students will be open to us as well.

We have first internship program after 4th semester , named as summer internship. Around 45+ students got on campus internship in electrical out of 85. Then for placements some student got PPO (pre placement offer) from their company, and rest apply for on campus placements that start in 7th semester. The college has over 90% placement ratio. Various top leading companies visit our campus. Some of them are D.E. shaw, Golman Sach, Google, Amazon, Arcesium, Jio, Newzera etc. I have also secured an intership and will be applying for on campus placement in my 7th smester. The highest package offered last year was 65 LPA, and average of electrical baranch was 18 LPA.

Campus placements are very good although it was a recession this year internship season was pretty good Google hired 10 interns this season that's a big percentage of the strength at the current time.
