IIT Indore - The best 2nd generation IIT, why should you choose it ?

I want to make my carrer in engineering and IIT Indore seems a well developed and structured college to me. Also I had a keen interest in electrical So I choose this course. All faculties here are super qualified and completed their p.h.ds from reputed colleges. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:10. We have mid term and end term exams every semester and two semester in a year. Course is of total 8 semesters meaning 4 years. The acadmics pressure is lite, and we can easily score good in normal day to day study. Relative scoring is done in every subject.

We fave internship opputunities after 4th semester, companies visit campus to hire interns. Variour top companies come some of the names are google, Newzera, golman sach, samsung reseach etc. I also got an intern offer by on campus internship. The Trainig and Placement cell of the college maintain all of this. The average stipened offer is above 60,000 per month. Genrally all internship are of 2 months.

We have first internship program after 4th semester , named as summer internship. Around 45+ students got on campus internship in electrical out of 85. Then for placements some student got PPO (pre placement offer) from their company, and rest apply for on campus placements that start in 7th semester. The college has over 90% placement ratio. Various top leading companies visit our campus. Some of them are D.E. shaw, Golman Sach, Google, Amazon, Arcesium, Jio, Newzera etc. I have also secured an intership and will be applying for on campus placement in my 7th smester. The highest package offered last year was 65 LPA, and average of electrical baranch was 18 LPA.

The tution fee for every semester is 1 lakh, and the hostel + mess fee is 38,000. So it cost around 2,72,000 per year. There is 100% scholarship on tution fee for students whose anual family income is less than 1 lakh, and 66% scholarship for students whose annual family income is less than 5 lakh. The IIT Indore placement are great and booming every year. We have highest placement of 65 LPA with average placement of 18 LPA in electrcial branch. Several top MNCs visit for on campus placement every year.

The life in campus is very great. The classrooms are fully digital and air conditioned. We have whiteboards, projectors, speakers, teaching tablets and computers in every classroom. The campus is full of greenery, we have a large library building containing countless no. of books with digital edtion too. The process of issuing books from library is very smooth and completely digitalised. Other than this we have a great facility for indoor and outdoor games. We have a dedicated sports complex which is recently build, contain facilites for every indor games. We orgained aur annual cultural fest that is FLUXUS too. The college had a wide vairety of tachnical and social clubs , some of the names are: programming club which I am part of, mystic hues (photography club), cinephiles (videography club), drama club, debating society, DSC club, engine and demons and a lot more. Students can easily pursue their interest in any of the field. There are a lot oppurtunities here.

We have flat system , a 5BHK flats are alloted to a group of 5 students. It include two washrooms, one small kitchen , 5 indivisual rooms and a common hall with a sofa set and table. Each room contain study table, chair , almira ,two tubelights and one fan. We have centralised ducting for cooling and facility of hot tap water 24 by 7. Mess food is okaish not so great vairety is there but quality is not so good. For hostels rent is 18000 and for mess cost is 17000 per semester. I live in one those hostels name APJ Abdul kalam.

To get the admission I firstly gave JEE Mains examination, secured AIR 6432 in general rank list. My percentile score was 99.42 % and cuttoff was 89 percentile for general. Then I gave JEE Advance Exam and secured AIR 3342 in genral rank list, marks scored was 163. Then I applied in JOSSA counselling, after 6 round of JOSSA, I got IIT Indore Electrical Engineering. The cutoff for this was 3416 rank. Any indivisual who cleared JEE Advanced exam can apply for this course through JOSSA counselling.
