How is the library and the faculty at AIIMS Bhopal?

I had the opportunity to visit AIIMS Bhopal as I was meeting a friend who called me to the library to discuss something. AIIMS Bhopal, well known for its beautiful infrastructure has a central library which has about 3 floors.

The library in AIIMS Bhopal is beautifully designed and has attractive architecture.
The best part was its sitting arrangement which was unique and quite comfortable
The library was fully AIR Centralized
The library also had computers to access e-books and other study materials.
The library also had access to free wifi
Clean washrooms and a drinking water facility were also available.
The ambiance inside the library was peaceful

However, I found that the library lacked enough variety of books and should be stacked with better books. Overall, AIIMS Bhopal Library is a beautiful and peaceful place to study.

MBBS from any AIIMS is equally good and anyone who claims otherwise has false information or hasn’t been exposed to the facilities of these peripheral AIIMS.

As for the high-tech medical instruments, UG MBBS does not require such equipment and the course is conducted mostly through clinical exposure and not research work. For this, we need enough cadavers, well-furnished labs, OTS, and well-maintained lecture theaters.

Every AIIMS provides these top-notch facilities and has excellent infrastructure that promotes a healthy academic environment. The quality of the infrastructure is further proved by the pic below

What you see here is a modular OT and a high-tech faculty that is present only in institutes of national importance because of funding from the government.

AIIMS faculty recruitment is unique and thus it’s not easy to take in just anyone as a teacher here. Moreover, the faculty shortage does not affect the quality of education.

The results of all these AIIMS and the successful doctors they have produce are a testament to their worth and credibility that is almost the same as AIIMS Delhi.

Both VMMC and AIIMS Bhopal are well-respected institutions in India and both have strong programs in medicine. In terms of faculty, both institutions have highly qualified and experienced faculty members. However,

Faculty: AIIMS Bhopal is considered to have a stronger faculty with more experienced teachers.
Hostel: In terms of hostel facilities, VMMC has well-maintained hostels with modern amenities, while AIlMS Bhopal has older hostels that are in need of renovation. Both institutions have comfortable rooms, but AIlMS Bhopal is considered to have better-furnished rooms.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, both institutions have modern and well-equipped facilities. However, AIIMS Bhopal is considered to have a more advanced infrastructure.

These points clearly hold AIIMS Bhopal higher than VMMC, but I would still suggest you go for VMMC. AIIMS Bhopal may be better in terms of hostel, faculty, and infrastructure advantages but the most important factor for choosing a college is its location. Delhi offers better opportunities in terms of salary as well as other prospects. Delhi hospitals like Safdarjung Hospital have the highest pay scale for PG residents. Being in Delhi, you can work hard and get into a better hospital or college by Delhi quota for PG.

Ultimately I feel location should be given the highest priority while choosing a college and that being said, VMMC is the best option for you. However, the best choice for you will depend on your personal preferences and goals.

The faculty to students ratio is 1:40 here. The faculty is very qualified here . They are always here to help the students our class co ordinator ms Ranjana Verma is very good teacher. Our curricula includes anatomy physio biochem psychology etc in first year
