Remarks

you should qualify NEET to enter into AIIMS Bhopal. Cut off varies year to year and recently the trend is that cutoff of AIIMS is increasing rapidly seeing the development that is happening here. I got into AIIMS bhopal in second round and I was the last second person to get the college in my category. Application is filled online during the counselling which is done online and is common for all the college under all india quota. You have to fill preferences and you'll get the college according to it and your rank. Later on after allotment of college, you need to come physically to verify all the documents which get submitted here till you complete your degree. Overall admission process in AIIMS bhopal is pretty easy, I was able to complete it from morning till evening.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Mbbs is a really vast and demanding degree. Takes a lot of courage and time of 5.5 years. Gives you first hand clinical experience in clinical postings. There are regular CMEs and other conferences, workshops etc to fulfil your demands

Internships Opportunities

4

Stipend of internship after final year is around 30,000 INR a month which is much higher than average mbbs internships . Good exposure and there's a lot to learn, though most of the time you'll be busy in doing paperwork but still it's easier than other med colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is very minimal of Rs 5856 for 5.5 years and it includes hostel fees . Fess fee is separate and it depends on you if you want to opt hostel mess or some other one from outside. Various scholarships are there for mbbs but in this amount of fees it won't be needed in most of the cases. AIIMS is really affordable and Bhopal as a city is quite cheap and won't be hard on your pockets.

Campus Life

4.5

Annual fest RETINA is awesome and those will be the best 5 days of the year in your life for next 5 years, unforgettable memories and unlimited enjoyment. Scientific fest of 2 days is starting this year and it'll be good too hopefully. Sports fest PRAVAAH is held every year with 4 teams made by conducting auctions and many sports are played. Cultural fest TARANG is held for cultural competitions like dance, art etc Library is well equipped with both academics and non academic books, wifi is available and aesthetic sitting areas are there.

Hostel Facilities

5

Single occupancy well furnished rooms. Hot water available in winters. Hostels are clean and well maintained with regular cleaning done in rooms and hostel as well. Fees is already included in the main few so you need not pay anything additionally.

Faculty

4

Ratio in theory classes in 1:125 and in clinical teaching it's 1:25 in most of the branches. Faculty is well qualified and well established in their respective fields. They are approachable if you're enthusiastic about studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
