Remarks

Despite being a private college, the hospital rush is huge with good patient load on all the days. Both the clinical and non clinical faculties are experienced and have vast knowledge about their respective fields.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS, as we all know is a long course of studying, studying and studying. My college is also a research centre where many researches such as active participation in ICMR is carried out.Exams are frequent, but that's a part of the curriculum and it's up to you if you can handle the stress and be chilled while coping with the constant pressure.

Placement Experience

4

Yes my college provide internship but stipend is not given as many of the other private colleges of MP.Job opportunities are diverse with individual choices of whether a person wants to remain an undergraduate or do a postgraduate degree.

College Events

4.5

Events celebrated in my college are as follows:- Republic day when NCC cadets do march past infront of the auditorium and flag is host by the Chief guest. Lohri when bonfire occurs. Holi Ganesh chaturthi Annual festival

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expensive of course as it's a private medical college but still it's a lot cheaper than othe private medical colleges all over India.Fees structure changes every year, it was 4,72,500 in 2014 when I got admission but now it has been increased to approx 11lacs for the year 2019.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college is a part of medhavi chhatr yojana where economically backward students with good academic score in 12th boards are given free education by the MP government in return of compulsory 5yrs rural service.

Campus Life

4

My college has equal male is to female ratio.Workshops also take place frequently.Conferences occur from time to time. There is no racial discrimination or discrimination on the basis of religion.People are diverse from all the type of economic backgrounds.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I live in the hostel, infrastructure is okay and the rooms are double seated with attached bathrooms and balconies. It is well furnished with two almirah, two tables and chairs and two beds with mattress.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are quite supportive and they help the juniors in different ways be it in academics or in personal affairs. They mark important topics for the exam as per their experience. When I came to the college, I was quite scared in the beginning but their friendly behavior helped a lot.

Admission

I got admission by scrutiny process that happened in Bhopal through AIPMT rank.Choosing MBBS was not a tough decision as it was my dream ambition since childhood.Being a doctor is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are qualified, most of them are post graduates and some even carry super-specialisation degree. They have a vast idea of the syllabus and teach very well. They are thorough with the subject and have clear idea of the topics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
