- KEA is conducting a Special Stray Vacancy Round of Counselling for admission to vacant seats of MBBS/BDS under State Quota for the academic session 2024-25. Candidates must pay the Course Fee Deposit till November 22, 2024. Candidates who have paid the course fee deposit can fill in their choices/ options till November 24, 2024 (11 AM). The payment of the security deposit and option entry for the counselling should be done online @cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ugneet24. The Provisional and Final Seat Allotment will be released on November 25 and November 26, 2024, respectively. For more details, Check Here.
- Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2024 is ongoing for admission to State Quota MD/MS/DNB Seats. The choice filling for Round 1 Counselling is scheduled from November 19 (2 PM) to November 22 (4 PM). Candidates can exercise their priority of choices online @cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The Mock Allotment Result will be released on November 23, 2024. After mock allotment, candidates can rearrange their options from November 23 (4 PM) to November 25 (4 PM). The Round 1 Seat Allotment Result will be released on November 26, 2024. Sri Devaraj Urs University (SDUU), Karnataka offers various medical courses at UG, PG & doctoral levels. The college offers MBBS, B.Sc, BPT, BEMT, BASLP, Integrated B.Sc & M.Sc., M.Sc., MPH, MS, MD, Ph.D & a Fellowship program.
Admission is entrance based for medicine related courses. While admission is merit based for Allied Health Sciences courses except for Ph.D. which is in both cases an entrance based course. Details of admission to SDUU have been elaborated below:
- MBBS admissions are based on scores in NEET UG along with scores in 10+2 with PCB.
- For M.D and M.S admissions students are selected on the basis of NEET PG scores along with scores in MBBS with a year of internship.
- Ph.D admissions are based on entrance conducted by SDUU. Only those who do not have scores in UGC-NET or JRF or SET.
- For programs like B.Sc, BPT, BASPL, M.Sc, MPH admissions are merit based, that is scores obtained in the previous qualifying exam.
SDUU was established in 1986 by Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust with a focus on provisioning of medical education and social services.

SDUU MBBS Admission 2024

Eligibility Criteria
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as important subjects.
- The candidate must have attained the age of 17 while applying for admission.
Selection Criteria
The students are selected solely on the basis of merit of NEET UG examination.
- After the result declaration of NEET examination, national level counselling is held for the students.
- After counselling, the students are alloted seats on basis of the merit obtained.
- Students who qualified NEET are eligible for the counselling.
- Applicants can fill many options as per requirement in decreasing order.
- In total, 3 rounds of counselling are held for admissions.
- Finally, an acceptance fee must be paid for accepting the seat provisionally.

Eligibility Criteria
Master of Science in related discipline from faculty of Medicine with 55% in aggregate from a recognized University on a regular basis.
Selection Criteria
- Selection of students for the Ph.D program is done on the basis of the entrance exam which is conducted by the college itself.
- The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of Research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific.
- The related syllabus shall be notified in advance in the website.
- The marks at the qualifying examination shall be 50%.
- Maximum weightage (70%) shall be given to the written test and 30% to the interview.
- Students with valid scores in UGC-NET or JRF or SET are exempted from appearing for the internal entrance examination.
How to apply for SDUU?
The application mode for admission into SDUU is offline based, the application form for which is to be downloaded from the official website of the college.
Procedure for application:
- Visit the official website of the university and click on the link given for admission.
- From the information brochure, download the application form , fill in the information and affix a passport size photograph.
- Issue a DD in the favour of “ The Registrar, SDUU” payable at Kolar. After attaching it with the duly filled application form and other documents, send it to :

I was getting only this college in my budget for joining MBBS and at that time tuition fees of SDUMC , kolar was most affordable option in deemed medical college I could get as I already took the drop Admission in SDUMC, kolar MBBS course is through NEET UG followed by MCC counselling

- We have canteen and basic shops for our daily requirements

I chose this college as one of my family members suggested this college to me The counselling and admissions process was smooth We were guided through the process efficiently The college was the nearest to my house so I could visit often and didn't have to be homesick .. this college surroundings is safe too and situated neither isolated nor crowded area Also the area's language I am very familiar with to communicate with patients and didn't have any language barrier problems too

- Library is very huge in space. It includes a reading room as well as a section where you can borrow books and study.
- Hospital has very good patient inflow. You will get the hand on experience on lot of variety of patients.
Dislikes
- Mess food is not upto the mark. It is better than other hostels but it can be better
- Communication becomes little hectic as Bangalore City is 60 kms away from the college and buses are not that frequent

Since this college is closest to my home which is in Bangalore I chose this college plus it is also budget friendly compared to other deemed colleges. It is also NAAC accredited which adds to its credibility. This college is very old and the hospital is very famous that's why I chose this college

- Good teachers, faculty, the present and calm atmosphere, the temple on the entrance of the college
- Very good atmosphere, tennis grounds, badminton, basketball grounds etc, the well maintained library with lots of books, the learning atmosphere is well maintained
Dislikes
- Monkeys I don't like they will steal the food and takes off our bottles which I don't like
- The squirrels makes nests in the window side which causes difficulty for dust allergies and they makes sound early in the morning which is annoying

The admission process was very smooth we could pre book our seats for admission.we could directly contact collag for admission application form exams are scheduled every six months moderate level of exam are being conducted

Eligibility : intermediate more than 50 percent We can find forms and fees in website Reservation only for sc st student Frequency and timing of exams is quite ok They should give admission based on not only their marks.. But also by students interest regarding studies

They were provided good class for students . Application form will provide from our collage and addmission will start at April and if u need which cource u can select and meet with our principal they will share the fee structure.No need of entrance exams we can directly take admission

Admission:
No entrance exam required. Private college with well trained teachers and high technology. Admission process is very smooth. Eligibility is to pass in every plus two subject. Here have extra curricular activities like football ,cricket,carroms,and tennis.etc.

There were scheduled no entrance exams the admission process was very smooth. Reservation benefits were there we could prebook our seats and at the time of admission we would be free to get our seats we could directly contact the college for application forms.

According to the percentage I got eligibility for the course. Online we got an application form. Regarding improvement to the admission process, we need to approach the university. If any doubt we can discuss it with the dean of the respective department.
