Good learning but okay life

Likes

College is pretty active and has great learning and skill development opportunities
We had inter college cultural fest as well cme for educational purpose
Infrastructure is good just it is little small campus compare usual medical college but plenty of opportunities to learn

Dislikes

Policy are kind of unstable. They change pretty quickly
Need to learn kannada which I did but on my own
Need more sports infrastructure and more openness regarding rules and fine

We have to do internship in r l jalappa hospital which is attached to college. Got good in hand experience as house surgeon.also we were posted to smr district hospital and handled OPD for medicine and surgery and it was good experience how to work under less resources Also got chance to do suturing

Likes

the campus is beautiful and has a lot of greenery
college takes attendance and academics very seriously
the hospital has a lot of patients and the facilities are good

Dislikes

the college is in a rural setting and is really detached from the city life
there is a language and cultural barrier for people from other states

Internships Opportunities:

*internship is offered right after mbbs im the hospital (RL JALAPPA HOSPITAL) * according to nmc the internship is conducted. * after internship, student can appear for exams for PG programs or can work as a junior doctor or a tutor/TA

Likes

The academics is really good , the professors are up to date with latest curriculum and the classes are on time and the best thing is you to compulsory the practicals with minimum 80% attendance
Infrastructure is also good and the central library is full with latest medical journals and all the books. Hostel facility is very good , although hostel food you know it will be average quality
Clinical exposure is good with enough number of patient .

Dislikes

Extracurricular activities is not up to the mark
Campus Life and canteen facility is not good
Overall the only one thing I dislike about the college is that management show less interest in extracurricular activities

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is very hectic , daily you have to face punch in and punch out , and lot of clerk work will be there no doubt clinical exposure is really good , you can attend OT , you can scrub in . In the end you can learn everything there will be faculty who is always ready to teach you , but for me it was hectic and some kind of toxic.

Our college provides high quality education and has good infrastructure

Likes

The college infrastructure is top notch. The college is a calm place best for studying, relaxation and healing.
The campus has many amenities like gym, courts, sports fields etc
The library is very spacious and calm and the study materials are stocked up

Dislikes

Class timings should be informed earlier
Cultural programmes should be conducted on a basis which is very low
The placement services are not that active .

Internships Opportunities:

Bsc anesthesia and operation theatre technology course comes with a six months internship duration. For other courses it may very to one year. There is no stipend for interships. They also allow us to choose intership hospitals according to our preferences.

My college experience in a nutshell

Likes

Teaching method - very interactive , roleplays , projects , good explaination with use of computer based videos and audios
Infrastructure is good , canteen, gym ,sports complex are available
Social interaction is good , many drama , singing fest are there

Dislikes

More hour of class sessions which is hectic
Class timing is too early 8 am so cant fullfil our sleep needs
Stipened is very less in our college as im in mbbs

Internships Opportunities:

Stipened is 17000 per month as a intern in the hospital you are getting after working like a worker ,patient flow is nice but they give you so much of work without any holiday even on sunday you ahve to work

Good college but need some improvements then it'll be one of the best

Likes

Library is very huge in space. It includes a reading room as well as a section where you can borrow books and study.
Hospital has very good patient inflow. You will get the hand on experience on lot of variety of patients.
Clinical department are good. Faculties are well experienced and they teach in relation to the patient rather than just reaching bookish stuff

Dislikes

Mess food is not upto the mark. It is better than other hostels but it can be better
Communication becomes little hectic as Bangalore City is 60 kms away from the college and buses are not that frequent
Campus is not that big. If you want to go for a walk the campus is too short for that

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is provided in the hospital followed by a service in rural area which is a rule of the Karanataka Government. You will gain a lot of experience during your internship as patient inflow is quite good plus the variety of exposure is also very diverse.

My dream college for my best future

Likes

Good teachers, faculty, the present and calm atmosphere, the temple on the entrance of the college
Very good atmosphere, tennis grounds, badminton, basketball grounds etc, the well maintained library with lots of books, the learning atmosphere is well maintained
Very good food, teachers and non teaching staffs, the coordination between them is very well maintained

Dislikes

Monkeys I don't like they will steal the food and takes off our bottles which I don't like
The squirrels makes nests in the window side which causes difficulty for dust allergies and they makes sound early in the morning which is annoying
The water is very hard so there is difficulty in washing hair every day it causes hair damage and hair loss as it contains chlorine

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are being provided by the college itself they provide us the basic guidelines and postings every day which will make us more clarrified to our course the tasks makes us mingle with the patients and makes us more confident stipends are also being provided which is a motivation too

The way every one respects us and national anthem on every day
And i also like here games and gym quite inter

Dislikes

Behavior of watchmens they are full show off
Food in the hostel sometimes very bad and cant eat
Some rules and regulations and no bus available for everyone

The internship I decided to do in banglore and as a medical student i learn more things there the project is to help the patient and provide health care facilities to everyone The companies is we should go

Hard water that make hair fall, dandruff

There's a lot of internship opportunity here in this college campus.There is hospital facilities and there is postings during second year itself for dialysis course and as it is a medical College there is lots of patients for dialysis hence it's good to take internship from here.

My Dream College

Likes

College,hospital and hostel facilities are good
Very neat hostel which is also cleaned often everyday.
Stores and shops are nearby so that we can go and buy things faster.

Dislikes

Monkeys do come to hostel sometimes and steal food items.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is very good. We have an opportunity to practise ourself under highly qualified doctors and teachers. We can do 6 months or 1 year internship here. We have postings according to the number of students doing internship.
