Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course was overall good and practical aspects of subjects like paraclinivals including pathology , pharmacology , microbiology was very well taught and clinical postings were enough to make that clinical approach required for patient management Things could be made more clinical and more engagement could be done from students side like attending OT and labor room deliveries

Fees and Financial Aid

College annual tuition fee in 2018 was around 9lacs plus 60000 for hostel fees per year plus 10000 security fees to be deposited Annual tuition fee 2019 - 9 lacs plus hostel fee -60k Annual tuition fee 2020-9lacs plus hostel fee (shifted to new hostel )-90k Annual tuition fee 2021 -9lacs plus hostel fee -1lacs Annual tuition fee 2022 -9 lacs plus hostel fee -1lac Annual tuition fee 2023-4.5 lac plus hostel fee - 1,10k Stipend -15k / month

Campus Life

1.5

The technology and infrastructure of the college was overall satisfactory and enough for the course but however patient load and interaction was quite limited Food options are quite limited and culturals were quite limited only we had annual intracollege feat PARVA

Admission

I was getting only this college in my budget for joining MBBS and at that time tuition fees of SDUMC , kolar was most affordable option in deemed medical college I could get as I already took the drop Admission in SDUMC, kolar MBBS course is through NEET UG followed by MCC counselling

Faculty

3

The faculty ratio was overall good overall many professors were very helpful escpecially pharmacology (Dr Bhuvana ) and General surgery department and few professors were unfortunately involved in state politics and had bad perception about North Indians Exams conducted by university were overall fair and had moderate level of question paper But people from their state do have benefit over others in getting medals and opportunities But academics and exams were overall of high quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

There is no such special curriculum just i want to be a doctor so i chosed mbbs. It's a very good curriculum as we have both book knowledge and practical knowledge at same time as we have to go hospital in morning to see cases qnd at evening to learn about it. There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much
