Ans. The institute conducts an Online entrance examination, the NIMHANS entrance exam. The test consists of multiple-choice objective-type questions that a candidate needs to solve in a duration of 90 minutes. There will be 100 MCQ-type questions. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer. A single common entrance test of 60 minutes duration with 70 questions will be conducted for candidates applying for DM in Neurology and M.Ch. in Neurosurgery courses with MBBS qualification followed by an Entrance Test of 30 minutes duration with 30 questions for each domain and for one wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

NIMHANS Entrance Result for PG courses will be published on June 6, 2024, and admission for the PG courses will be conducted on June 12, 2024. INI CET July 2024 is scheduled to be held on May 19, 2024, for admission to MD/ DM/ M.Ch courses at NIMHANS. Students must report to campus for document verification and interviews.
